Campingplatz Wees

Camping itself is fine. But I still have a strange feeling about it (read: a bad taste in my mouth). When I bought something in the morning at the shop (2 sandwiches, 3 apples, and a bag of chips worth €6.40), I handed over €50 to the campsite owner and told her I didn't have anything smaller... no problem, she said. I searched for €0.40 and €1.00. By the time I'd gathered that, my €50 was gone. Suddenly, there was €5. Guess what... I'd lost €51.40.

Neat campsite with many permanent (messy) pitches. The campers are located on the edge with a beautiful view over the water. Sanitary facilities score satisfactorily. Shop with many different products. Check-in and check-out is not possible between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. We paid €33.50 for one night: 2 adults and 2 children. 4 stars for the friendly people and the great view!!
