We parked across the street in the parking zone, with a beautiful view of the beach and sea. The government doesn't allow parking or wild camping on the beach. Understandable, the beach belongs to everyone, especially the residents. We had a very quiet night with a few walkers and passersby. It's a nice spot, but please don't park on the beach itself.

Beautiful spot on a pebble beach with the sea in front of your door. When there is no wind, the sea looks like a flat mirror. When there is wind, (large) waves are created. It is a 1 km walk to the station, where the train leaves for Kalavytra. 2 showers on the beach and a waste container.

We were here with 4 campers. Great place for an overnight stay. Nice base for the cog railway.

Information
No facilities, only garbage container. Nice place on the gravel beach. Suitable for a few days. If you are lucky enough to spot under the trees. Place for ± 5 campers. Remember that you will get a spot in the first car for the little bit to Kalavrita! The further up front the better. If that does not work then it is better to take a later train because the experience in the 1st car can not be compared to the rest! Ticket vvpp € 19
