Arnarstapa Camping

Beautiful surroundings. Spacious campsite, though with little shade. Toilet and shower building very clean. Washing up outside, not covered. Washing water was lukewarm. Paid for showers for 5+ minutes.

We had to pay 35,000 ISK (€247) for one night for two people because of the "solar eclipse" event – it's a real rip-off! Outrageous! And for that price, there isn't even hot water, and the shower is extra! On the other hand, the site and the atmosphere are magnificent, and the campsite is well laid out, with clean facilities and spacious pitches on grass…

Great campsite with a beautiful view. Toilets and showers are very clean, although we didn't use the latter. The surrounding area is very beautiful for walking.
