We arrived about 15h00 and hooked up to the electric. Only two power points left available out of a total of four. But very peaceful and we felt safe. For €15, with electricity, this is absolutely fine for a stopover.

Nice place. Were with 5 other campers which made it feel safe. Water and electricity available. Quiet night and friendly host. Please note: The discharge point of the black water is behind the black fence next to the tap immediately next to the opening (at the garden hose). You can only reach this during opening hours.

We were kindly informed that no mobile homes could be accommodated until around mid-November because oil was being pressed. We drove to the gravel area on the east side of the cemetery.

Information
Parking area located in front of the Megalithic Walls of Altamura. 5 minutes on foot from the Archaeological Museum where you can see the famous Altamura Man and 10 minutes from the Old Town. The camper area, adjoining and communicating at the Oleario Perniola Frantoio, has pitches on drainable grassland. A welcome aperitif with Altamura Bread and Extra Virgin Olive Oil will make you experience a gastronomic experience. OBLIGATORY BOOKING !!
