Agriturismo Armiro

We only saw the manager from behind his window. We were allowed to find a place ourselves. We were fine with a beautiful view. Apart from a fixed crane, we were not allowed to find any facilities. The restaurant was also closed. But we were free. Great, but nothing special! Incidentally, the coordinates mentioned by the NKC brought us to the right place at once!

This is essentially a farm stay, power and water available for €10. The place is neat and tidy, the view spectacular. After chatting to the family we had dinner. It was a wonderful meal of simple country Italian food but at restaurant quality. About 5 klms to Santa Severina, we rode our scooter back in for the day. Highly recommended would give a 10 but no toilet dump.

We were here for free (no electricity) and enjoyed the delicious Sunday lunch (15 € pp including drinks) on the porch. The friendly owner also speaks German. The nearby Santa Severina is worth a visit.
