Camping Lido di Salerno

although advertised as 23 euros a night they charged 45! definitely not worth that! outdated facilities and no hot water to wash pots. only 3 hot showers and men and women all mixed although toilets were separate. derelict area with supermarket a mile and a half walk.

The bathroom facilities are outdated, but the shower is okay. The bus stop is right outside, a 35-40 minute drive to Salerno. We bought a combined ticket for the Path of the God. All in one day: a beautiful boat trip to Amalfi, the Amalfi adventure bus to Bomerano, and the return boat from Postiano to Salerno. Note: a sea view spot costs an additional 7 euros per night!

Not a good experience. The price turned out to be double what was advertised upon arrival. The minimarket is nothing special. It's essentially a large, paved parking lot for campers. The atmosphere is impersonal.
