Campeggio Grinto

Great place to visit Turin. About a half-hour bike ride along the Po to the city center. Otherwise, it is primarily a campervan site, though there is sufficient space to sit outside. Sanitary facilities are limited, mainly because there are no separate toilets and everyone wants to shower at the same time in the morning. Also, some showers were broken. The sanitary facilities were clean enough in the evening, but downright filthy in the morning.

Great Cultural Centre for visiting Turin. Pleasant welcome. Food available. Good place to walk your dog. Reservations are recommended.

The pitches are good and beautifully situated for a city campsite. The sanitary facilities are good, but the maintenance leaves something to be desired. Taps do not work properly, the drain is clogged, and in the middle sanitary building, the taps at the sinks for washing dishes are not connected to the hot water! So, washing up with cold water! The showers are good, though. The sanitary building only has bathrooms, some of which are private, but no separate toilets. This means sometimes having to wait to use the toilet.
