Camping Mombarone

We had a bit of trouble finding it (it's a small exit from the main road with a camping sign and flag), but we were very happy we did. The welcome was warm and the restrooms spotless. A beautiful spot on the river with mountain views. Ivrea, half an hour away, is a charming town. When choosing a spot (you're free to choose), be mindful of the street noise; it varies considerably.

Absolutely the best camping place in the area! You can go all the way in back to camp along the River and sleep with the white noise! Super nice owners, no hassle with registration or passports, just go as you like, based on trust! And the best part: the via Francigena runs right through here! We hiked 18 km of it, absolutely stunning old paths and views!

Good campsite with a very friendly welcome. Simple but tasty food in the nearby restaurant.
