Today, September 9th, we stopped here briefly on our way south. The gate was open, and the sign said we were welcome. However, we were politely but firmly turned away because it was closed. That was a bit confusing and a shame, especially after a long drive. Perhaps the information could be more clearly displayed so visitors would have a better idea of what to expect.

we had a very peaceful overnight stop here, we were the only ones and at night the gate closes and you feel very safe! The traffic noise was minimal as was the trains - we had a lovely lunch in the bistro and bought some delicious wine! very friendly and hospitable hosts - the car park was flat, no amenities at all, but free and safe to stop. Just to note, they close at 5pm on a Wednesday! Really recommended 👍

Arrived here this afternoon at a beautifully landscaped parking lot for campers with olive trees. It is indeed on a main road and you can also hear the trains on the other side, but we accept that. We had a delicious meal in the associated restaurant and the people are very friendly. The village of Dolcè is not much. But for an overnight stay it is very good. In our opinion, highly recommended.
