Agricampeggio La Valle

A great campsite for visiting Lucca and Pisa by bike via the cycle path along the canal. The campsite is quite remote; walking to the train station is doable, but we turned back due to the dangerous road leading to the station. We were there in early October, and there is hardly any sun due to the many tall trees and lots of shade. Good Wi-Fi, and the lower pitches have satellite reception. The sanitary facilities are clean, but the showers are not very convenient for hanging clothes.

What a lovely terraced campsite, a beautiful spot between Lucca and Pisa. Both cities can be reached by bike. Nice welcome, clean sanitary facilities.

What fantastic service! The people really helped us incredibly well. In the end, we didn't stay overnight, but that certainly wasn't the campsite's fault. The communication was great and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. A solid ten for the service and communication; that certainly deserves a mention!
