Corte Agricola Monrò

We stayed here for one night. Right near the chicken coop. It smelled terrible. A lot of noise. You have to pay 8 euros in cash for the tourist tax. If you don't, you have to pay an extra 3 euros. The campsite is too expensive for the quality you get.

€45.50 per day for 2 people including tourist tax (€37.50 pitch + 2 x €4 tourist tax). A lovely site with pitches on grassy areas, free-roaming geese and chickens. Clean sanitary facilities (rated 3), dishwashing area available. Fresh water, chemical toilet disposal, and grey water disposal are available. The grey water disposal is a bit cramped and awkward. Overall, a nice site; we would come back.

Big plus: you can walk to Verona in no time, 1.8 km from the Arena and the historic center. Reception was handed over to an employee; it was quick, chaotic, and not very clear. Spoke to the owner briefly when settling the bill. The sanitary facilities are really bad: loose toilet seats, mold in the showers, toilet doors that don't close properly, etc. Why no maintenance! Lots of flies and mosquitoes (bring insect repellent) and noise from the factory. This could become a great location!
