We spent a night here with the camper in July 2020 and suspect that extra fences have recently been installed. As a result, the large camping field is no longer accessible for campers and there is only a small area where you can stand. It is a very quiet place and you can take beautiful walks from here.

Certainly unsuitable for wide and long motorhomes. Watch out for rain! 2x slope of 12% grit / dirt road that becomes very slippery in rain. Camping allowed. Fire place, firewood, garbage can and a neat dry toilet. Shallow swimming place for children in the clean fast-flowing river. The bridge is temporarily closed due to renovation

We have tried to come here. From Cesis, the navigation (on GPS coordinates) indicates a route to that beach at a camel farm. The path continues there, but is not allowed to enter. Also crossing a brook bed with our Hymertje is not a good idea ๐. Back via the main road Cesis / Ligatne we were sent a badly washable road. Attempt stopped
