Camping Schützwiese

I've stayed at the campsite a few times for short periods and will be camping there for a longer time this year. The campsite is beautifully situated, right on the Moselle and Sauer rivers. The welcome was very friendly and the site was very clean.

We went by the photos on Camper Contact... Well, that was a huge disappointment at first. The first thing we saw was a collapsed caravan. Spots not really spacious. Sanitary facilities neat, vending machine for some sweets etc. Otherwise good facilities. Had a nice bike ride. But it looked much nicer in the photos.

A great place, quiet and relaxing. The family is very friendly, helpful, and pet-friendly. There are washing machines/dryers and a dishwashing area. The sanitary facilities are very clean and well-maintained. There is also a playroom for children. All rooms are heated in winter. We would gladly come back. The price was also very reasonable.
