Camping du Barrage, Stolzembourg

Very friendly welcome at this very quiet (it is May) campsite. Nicely situated by a flowing stream. Unfortunately, not much sun. Sanitary facilities reasonably clean but dated. We soon moved on to the south. €36 for one night, 2 people with electricity is too expensive for what you get.

We've been coming here for years with our family, who have enjoyed the peace and quiet and the natural surroundings. Now, there are regular customers from Belgium and other countries who drink far too much and play music. We politely asked if the music could be turned down a bit, but this led to a terribly aggressive reaction from the Belgians, and we were threatened, so we packed up and left. A waste of money, we still had three nights left.
