Camping Imsouane

04.02.2020 Camping outside of the village. Access bad. Parking spaces of different sizes also for XXL WoMos. Sometimes very uneven. No wifi. Sanitary facilities old and not completely clean. The footpath into the village is packed. 15 minutes walk to the sea. Many small bars in town. Surfer as far as the eye can see. Price / performance does not match.

Two camp sites are listed, but we found only one. Perhaps they have merged. Coming from the north we took 15km of the P1000, very narrow. Better to use the shorter southern part. The access track, as noted, is very rough. Popular with surfers who coped with the steep climb down to the beach. Didn't use the showers and other facilities, also a long way down the hill. Rough and rocky path to the village which has a small supermarket for bread and one or two cafes and restaurants.

our experience was good! toilets were neat and clean, shower not used, electricity not. the atmosphere is friendly, a number of (stray?) dogs run loose over the campsite, very sweet and friendly. our dog has a lot of fun there. Beautiful view and with your dog you can walk. swimming in the sea is no problem, but just down a staircase.
