Great place to stay. Good food, just a shame that the comment that there were two long hairs in the food was dismissed with I will pass it on and there was no apology from the kitchen.

Stayed here several times. Great place. Tasty meal delivered to the camper door. Bakery 3 minutes walk: via "elephant path" over the lawn at the back of the parking lot, turn right and you will see the bakery on the left. Also accessible via the Parkweg, which runs along the parking lot.

at Heerenveen exit 11, follow signs for Koningshof, under the viaduct - after 150 meters turn left towards Koningshof - then via driveway to large parking lot - a lot of traffic noise - center of Heerenveen 2km
