21/04 Very quiet, neat campsite, close to the beautiful fortified town. Nice to stroll around, lots of hospitality and shops in the town center (close at 5:30 PM). Supermarkets close to the campsite. Market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Thanks to the municipality for this beautiful place and the opportunity to visit your beautiful city.

Perfect spot for one or two overnight stays in Zaltbommel. Beautiful surroundings for cycling and walking. Spacious camper pitches and a pleasant, quiet environment. There are officially 6 spots, although sometimes extra campers are parked in regular parking spaces. It is polite to respect this, especially given the free nature of the site. There are no facilities, so please take your trash with you and keep the place clean.

The spot is fine as far as I could see. It is nice that the municipality offers such a place. When we arrived last night, in addition to the six 'officially' parked campers, there were about six more scattered across the parking lot. It is just a matter of waiting until the residents start complaining and the spot disappears again. That is why we drove on and found something else.
