Camping De Hoge Haren

The location is great if you want to cycle along the Waal River. Upon arrival, we had to call and were able to choose a spot. The restrooms are fine when clean. During the three nights we stayed, the mixed restroom building wasn't cleaned once. My husband had to turn around because the shower was too dirty to get into. The restrooms weren't clean either. Overflowing trash cans inside and outside. Such a shame.

Stayed here for three nights in early September. It's a lovely campsite, the only downside being the busy road running alongside it. It's a great base for cycling along the Waal River or visiting Zaltbommel. The old town center is especially charming. Cycling on that side of the Waal River is also excellent. There are also some lovely villages in the area. Sanitary facilities are plentiful and clean.

We stayed here for one night. It was a great campsite with lovely pitches. We received a friendly welcome. The sanitary facilities were neat and clean. Because we arrived on a Saturday, we were fortunate that we could order fries and snacks in the evening. They were perfectly prepared and very tasty. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to explore the area, but our stay was fantastic. Grieta and Kees
