Parking Paterswoldsemeer - DeLijte

Beautiful spot overlooking the lake. No amenities available, but we have everything ourselves, so no problem. I think it would be wonderful in the summer, right on the water. There were also campers that we didn't see anyone in, so probably cheap storage.

Stayed for two nights. The first night in a regular parking space, then one in a campervan spot. A beautiful spot on the water. Relaxed atmosphere, but busy. No amenities except for the dirty water well and trash cans. It's within easy cycling distance of Groningen city center. We didn't experience any road noise; where else in the Netherlands is it truly quiet, and you can park for free? If I know, I won't tell you ;-). I highly recommend this place.

DEAR CAMPERCONTACT.... It should be your task to create more places via the municipality of GRONINGEN. There is enough space and the municipality of GRONINGEN should be ashamed of itself for only offering 8 camper places. Come on campercontact, go for your members and contact the municipality of Groningen to create more camper places.
