Beautiful place. Friendly owner. Clean sanitary facilities. Showering for 1 euro = 4 minutes was enough. It is on grass, though – a bit sloping at the beginning of the field. Lovely tea garden in Middelstum, a nice little village. There is also a supermarket there, a few kilometers away.

Beautiful campsite in the Groningen countryside with plenty of opportunities to cycle to various beautiful villages and the city of Groningen. That ‘euro showering’ remains a hassle though; increase the pitch fee by 1 or 2 euros and use a timer if necessary, that would also limit water usage. Sanitary facilities are neat but a bit on the ‘cramped’ side when fully occupied; installing a urinal could ‘relieve’ this a bit😏. Otherwise, regarding all the info etc., it is absolutely top-notch.

Very well-maintained site, everything looked like it had just opened, sanitary facilities were top-notch, nice owners, very friendly and helpful.
