De oude manege, Winsum

Just a brief explanation regarding our motorhome pitches De Oude Manege is not a campsite, but a multi-purpose sports and recreation facility that offers space to motorhomes on our spacious (parking) grounds during quiet periods. We focus on motorhome owners looking for a simple place to stay overnight and who may wish to make use of the facilities our company has to offer.🙏🏼 You are welcome, and we hope this is now clear.

This is not worthy of a camper site. Even one star is too much for us. Old, worn-out riding school. We drove straight on to the nearby camper site in the small harbor of Onderdam.

Stunning location with many additions accessible in the old riding arena for sports, fitness, and a bar serving as a living room. We were among the first here. A sanitary station still needs to be installed, though. However, toilets and showers are available. Winsum is a beautiful village just a 5-minute bike ride away. The location is not yet fully ready for campers but offers all the facilities as previously described. There are even boats and canoes for rent.
