EuroParcs Enkhuizer Strand

The sanitary facilities are dirty and the smell is bad too. Some screens around the waste containers wouldn't be a bad idea either, and having them emptied more often. It currently looks like a garbage dump right in front of the sanitary building. Cleaning the mosquito nets above the showers is also a good idea, as you now have a double shower. And there are quite a few large spiders crawling around near the sinks and toilets. The camper pitch is small and slopes steeply on gravel. If you're lucky, there is a nice view.

Booked via NKC, you stay at a Europarcs Enkhuizen location. Good communication. Stayed for 5 wonderful days with grandchildren. Sanitary facilities are very good. Pitches are open, but there is sufficient space. Sprookjeswonderland is a 5-minute walk away. You can use the indoor swimming pool at Europarcs. Great. The steam tram and Zuiderzee Museum are also very nice. The price including electricity is okay for what you get. A good campsite that can only grow.

As mentioned earlier, the park is currently a construction site. Lots of dust, limited facilities. Cramped camper pitches entirely made of gravel, with no shelter from the bright sun and wind. Sewer smell in the toilet block, but otherwise clean and a nice shower. We came here because of the swimming pool; the children enjoyed that. The park is partly open to the public. In the evenings, there is a nuisance caused by youths on fat bikes and scooters, both next to and on the camping strip.
