For us—self-sufficient alcove campers—this was one of the most beautiful campervan sites in Norway. Along the road, about a kilometer long, are a variety of campervan sites with views of the mountains, the reservoir, and the plateau. Several hiking trails start there. The Bakeri, 2.3 kilometers away (a paid campervan site, by the way), has fantastic sandwiches.

This is much more than just a campervan site. These are several natural spots where you can also swim, canoe, hike, and relax outdoors. No, there are no facilities, but for those who can go off-grid, this is a beautiful spot. Drive all the way to the bridge, and there are about 20 sites available. Most are private, sometimes three or four of you are together. We stayed there for three nights.

Beautiful piece of nature with places to stand here and there. No facilities, with nature as an attraction.
