Beautiful spot, lots of traffic noise from the opposite side. But it's primarily a recreational lake for locals, so they ask you to use a campsite, of which there are several in the area.

There's no denying that this is a good location but it appears there is local resistance to motorhomes using this place. The first indication is the formal notice on the bins that suggest that we use one of the many campsites on offer. A couple of cars did slowly drive past us whilst we were sitting reading in the van. Then at around 10.15, when our blinds were shut, a vehicle pulled up alongside us and the side of the van was given a hard thump

Nice place with a view, picnic tables and trash cans. Just off the busy road, next to a main road. Good place to stay. Free.
