September 12, 2025. Quiet place, lots of hunters. It was hunting season. It was indeed difficult to drive up with a 7-meter-long mobile home.

A beautiful spot in the Great Bear Forest. A very quiet night at about 550m altitude, so it's a bit colder this time of year. On our morning walk, we were greeted by a large, fresh bear roll, so they're definitely around here. Our woodshed was empty, which may also be due to the time of year. Everything is gearing up for the arrival of snow.

beautiful quiet place in nature. starting point of hiking trail. Access road is private toll road: 100 kr. Gravel road to be avoided with large campers and long overhang.

official gateway to Lierne/Lijre National Park - there is a small hut and a campfire place - good for exploring the National Park and nearby Muru, known for its many bears - center >25km
