Stayed here for 2 days. Apart from a bit of a climb, it is easy to cycle to the old town. Note: it is along a busy road, so public transport is better. Nice cycling through the lagoon and to the beach. Excellent Wi-Fi, nice shower (for a fee). Electricity available. Major downside: very busy road that wakes you up very early. We were not bothered by air traffic.

Clean campsite/pitch with good sanitary facilities. Everything is easily and cheaply accessible by Uber.

Feb 2026

February 2-14, 2026. We stayed here for two weeks, mainly because of the weather. Sheltered from the wind and not bothered by rain thanks to the fine grit. The shower here is very nice, spacious, and nice and warm. Everything is kept very clean. Ludo Palm Trees is a beautiful area for hiking. We took lovely bike rides to Faro de Praia, and the Ludo Trail, a boardwalk path through the Wadden Sea area, is definitely worth it. We had a delicious lunch at the restaurant Monte da Ria.
