Friendly! I arrived late, but as a woman traveling alone, I was still let in and quickly hooked up. Great paved pitches, spotlessly clean sanitary facilities! There is often a lot of activity outside the campsite on the square or in the neighborhood. Earplugs are handy though. Located in the Ria Formosa area, the beach is very close by, the seawater is a bit shallow but it is a beautiful nature reserve.

Friendly welcome at the reception. To our liking, it felt like an overcrowded campsite where everyone was pitched haphazardly. Sufficiently clean sanitary facilities. Small restaurant with a terrace on the campsite. Very close to the beach. Beautiful bike ride to Alhao (exit the gate to the right, take the first left and follow the cycling signs marked 1). Lots of shade; we didn't get a single ray of sun. Plenty of hospitality establishments nearby. Wristbands are mandatory, but almost everyone walks through the gate without one???

We stayed here for 4 nights because we wanted to be right on the beach. The location is great. Right on the beach and the village has plenty of restaurants and bars to offer. A nice base for cycling trips. Tariva is a nice place to cycle to, but more suitable for a mountain bike than a city bike. There are many permanent pitches on the campsite with dilapidated structures on them, but that doesn't bother you. The toilets are very outdated but work and are clean. We paid €99.20
