Camping Pelinos

What a paradise, a terraced campsite that exudes tranquility. A very comprehensive information folder was provided upon arrival. A friendly welcome; you immediately feel at ease. Beautiful surroundings with plenty of cycling and hiking opportunities. Good sanitary facilities, and they're working hard to modernize everything. You can take your dog straight into the woods. We stayed here for nine days and moved on because of the weather, but this is a campsite to remember. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place, friendly welcome. It's fun to cycle to Tomar and definitely worth visiting the monastery. The bar is also a nice place to have a drink and get tips. There are still areas for improvement, as they're just starting up. Tip: nature should be nature; we love it. But try to keep things a bit cleaner around the toilet, shower, and dishwashing area. Definitely recommend coming back. Good luck with everything!

A pleasant campsite in itself, with excellent, clean sanitary facilities and a nice swimming pool. As mentioned in a previous review, the pitches do get quite muddy when it rains. Furthermore, some attention could be paid to pitch maintenance (removing weeds and filling in holes). If that were done, we think it could become a top-notch campsite.
