It's an ideal place to get your passport and stamps. We were unlucky because from around 8:30 PM until well after 1:00 AM, there were lots of young people speeding around in cars and lots of shouting. After that, it was quiet until morning, then there was some traffic noise from the road. Cafe Kilometer Zero is highly recommended. For us, this place was a one-off, perhaps because it was the weekend and there was so much noise.

Great location close to the city center. Picked up my N2 passport at Café Kilometro Zero. It's a quaint café with friendly service. Of course, it's always a bit noisier in a city, but we had a wonderfully peaceful night.

The place is situated on a large lawn, but also 60 m away from a busy road. That is not really a quiet place. I find the old city of Chaves rather disappointing.
