The Wheel Caravan Park & Campsite

we arrived at campground, had a look around. A great gravel pit, decided not to stay as the whole atmosphere at the campground didn’t feel right. The owner came racing after us when we tried to leave, demanding if we used any of the facilities…. was it our camper!!! Explained we decided not to stay, owner proceeded to be rather angry at us and that we were disrespectful. Glad we didn’t stay, in future not ever going to stay.

only well located if you want to visit the wheel, which is within walking distance. furthermore large bare gravel pit with a bit strange manager. sanitary facilities ok, price way too high, 34 pounds for 1 night, van 2 people dog and no electricity.

what a horrible place this is the owner treats you like a dog and the toilet and showers are downright filthy 🤢 I'm not really into the bad reviews but this one really deserves 5 stars of disgust sorry. but say the only advantage is close to the falkirkwheel and 5 Miles from kelpies but I say from the bottom of my head you're better off standing at the North Pole without a heater than here. we go to sleep well and tomorrow we leave with screaming tires. 🤮🤮🤮
