Camping Sopelana

Nice campsite if you want to visit Bilbao; the nearby beach was also very pleasant. Our pitch was smaller than described and had problems with the power connection. It was still very full in mid-September; couldn't make a reservation, had to be there early. Unfortunately, the pool was already empty. Sanitary facilities renovated and clean.

Upon arrival, it turns out that the campsite shop is closed and will not reopen; the swimming pool is also already closed and the water has been emptied. Unbelievably expensive for a campsite that still charges €48.

Nice if you have a sea view. Not all places are nice. Very functional for a visit to Bilbao. Wonderfully quiet at night. Beautiful beach. Fills up quickly, even in September.
