For a free overnight stay (there are no facilities other than a dumpster), this is an excellent spot. We stayed here on Saturday, August 2, 2025, and it was completely quiet. We had a wonderful swim from the jetty. There were two cranes that regularly made themselves heard. Note the small yellow sign indicating that you're not allowed to park directly by the lake, but just in front of it, where there's a designated space.
