A top spot for the camper who is still a real camper. No electricity etc., but... peace and space. It is in our top 5 places in Southern Sweden.

Large open area on the lake 30 minutes walk through signed forest trail to reach the lovely canal village itself, other walks too. Fairly long dirt track too get here off main road, we went down one narrow very bumpy section! Parking beside water, nice views, fire pits, old port, 7 campervans on our stay. No facilities at all but dump/fresh water for 50SEK in Village next to motorhome area on main road. Great place, nice sunsets, people fishing.

A truly "lost place." The road to it is rough, but if you take it easy, it's doable. The view is truly magnificent and worth the effort.
