irst Camp City – Strömstad is quiet and close to nature in an authentic Bohuslän environment with proximity to the sea. Here you can relax and really enjoy your holiday. The campsite is located in a wonderfully hilly environment on a mountain, where each pitch is unique with great views. At our campsite you can camp with your motorhome, caravan or tent in a beautiful environment and fantastic views. The pitches are flat, several of which are paved. Needless to say, this campsite is really popular with campers in motorhomes. Here you are also close to Strömstad city center which has a large selection of both shopping, restaurants and various activities.

We chose this campsite for its location. We thought it would be nice to walk to a town. The town itself was quite boring. But we were pleasantly surprised by the campsite. Very professional. The restrooms were good and adequate, even though we had read otherwise in the reviews. It might depend on your location. Wi-Fi was only available at reception.

The campsite itself deserves 5 stars but still some remarks. Access only possible from 1300 h. We were there at 1200 h, checked in for 1 night, paid 650 SEK (high season) and only then learned that we had to wait until 1300 h although the indicated place was free. Paid parking fee via EasyPark while waiting, no other parking possibility available. All this can be much better.
