quite a busy place. blocks with extra padding are often necessary. You have an even better view at the parking lots past the Blue John Cavern.

very nice route through Hope Valley. the place is a long road with parking lots on both sides. had a quiet night but still some traffic. many hikers park their cars there for the whole day. The next morning we left we only discovered that the town of Castleton is within reasonable walking distance.
