Beautiful place if you love nature. The fee for an overnight stay was now 15 pounds, departure before 9 in the morning.

Easy payment system. Small cafe, mountain bike rental. Otherwise just a parking lot. The castle is covered in scaffolding.

ideal for a stay at kielder,you pay the day rate of GBP 5.00 and an overnight fee of GBP 12.00 if you're into star gazing the observatory runs shows at 2300 hrs most evenings weather permitting (half hour walk up a hill to get to the observatory)
