27/07/20 Road side parking in a ‘lay-by’ with easy access to the Kinver Edge and some wonderful walks, tends to be busy with dog walkers and day trippers. Being roadside (the nearby National Trust car park is locked at 7pm) there was some traffic noise/buffering but felt safe and quiet after 11pm. Only a 20min walk into a nice village with goods variety of local shops.

Kinver is a lovely place to explore, especially if you enjoy walking (walking boots are a good idea as it’s pretty steep in places). We had a great time discovering Nanny’s rock too. This parking location is busy as it is the entrance to the National Trust rock houses, there are lots of alternative places to pull in around Kinver Edge which are much quieter. Definitely a lovely place to visit.
