In January, we booked a pitch for 9 and 10 June. We're glad we did, as the site was permanently full over the 2 nights, with campers being turned away. Anne came round in the evening and collected the fees in cash. Caravans are also allowed. There are buses to Fort William, but we opted to drive as the majority of car parks allow up to 10 hours of parking for motorhomes. All the pitches have hard standing with lovely views over the loch.

we didn't go there because it was 'fully booked'. Beautiful place indeed so if you want a view of the water it is wise to make a reservation.

We have been fine here. arrived at the end of the afternoon there was still plenty of room. Beautiful view of the lake. Power points available. no further facilities. Owner comes to collect money in the evening.

At Loch Linnhe, 11 miles from Fort William, there's a phone number listed at the entrance. Call the number and you'll be allocated one of eight pitches. The owner will collect the fee later.
