In January, we booked a pitch for 9 and 10 June. We're glad we did, as the site was permanently full over the 2 nights, with campers being turned away. Anne came round in the evening and collected the fees in cash. Caravans are also allowed. There are buses to Fort William, but we opted to drive as the majority of car parks allow up to 10 hours of parking for motorhomes. All the pitches have hard standing with lovely views over the loch.

Perfect location for visiting Stratford-upon-Avon. The price is still £27 for 72 hours, which is more than enough time required for visiting all that the town has to offer. We had two full days of sightseeing, including cycling to Anne Hathaway's Cottage, which is in the nearby village of Shottery. I suspect this camperstop may be extremely busy during the main holiday season, as it was proving popular when we stayed.

Great for visiting the city, but it's just been on our local news that sleeping overnight in your outfit is NOT ALLOWED, and you do get caught you could incur a fine of £50!

We stayed over on night 3 Nov after being unable to get water at the stopover in nearby Höhr-Grenzhausen. We were shown where to access the water (in the metal box), and how to get a ticket from the machine. Parking was free on the Sunday and our ticket took us to 0835 on 4th. We bought a ticket in the morning for 2 more hours (€2). The trains didn't necessarily bother us. We were the only motorhome parked overnight. For us, it was ideal.

We didn't stay. We discharged what little waste water we had, emptied the toilet - and wasted €1 on water 💧 that DID NOT WORK. We moved on down the road where - it being a Sunday - the parking was free. Our ticket takes us until 0830 the next morning, when we shall have to get another ticket.

Didn't stay here, but the service area is available for passing motorhomes. Small connector needed for water 💧.

Stayed for 4 nights. Ate in the restaurant on second night. We were the only ones in there. Food reasonably priced. Showers clean and water just hot enough. Caught train to Zagreb. €19.24 return for 2 people. Excellent value. Station 4 min cycle ride. Locked up bikes against a lamp post at the station. Great cycling around here. We cycled routes 2, 4 and 5. Booklets available in reception. Site closes on 31 Oct. ACSI €24.06 pp incl tourist tax.

Campsite very haphazard. We paid €21pn ACSI price plus tourist tax. We chose a pitch initially in the middle of the site but then changed to one just off the road leading out of the site (118). We had the whole area practically to ourselves for the 4 nights we were there. We had to use our own facilities as the sanitary block wasn't open, and it was too far to walk to an open one. Restaurant reasonably priced. Easyish cycle ride into Pula.
Sitecode: 11434
Obscure campsite - but perfect for visiting the NP. €4 pp on shuttle bus from front of campsite. Also great cycle ride round perimeter of NP - though you take your life into your hands on the main road - not that you're on it for very long and there is a detour off at the beginning following the cycle route signs/Kamoot app. Showers lovely and hot - possibly as not many were using them. We paid €92.46 for 3 nights x 2 people + ehu.

We spent 5 nights at this beautiful campsite - which closes for the season on 15 October. Our pitch (# 11) was perfect and for €23 a night (ACSI price) plus minimal tourist tax, we had no complaints. Friendly staff, bakery service, lovely clean, hot showers. The sea terrace was just perfect, and the sea itself was lovely to swim in. We would love to have stayed for longer. The only downside was that there were no shops in the immediate vicinity.

Super little campsite. Friendly owner. You arrive, pitch up yourself, and pay when the owner turns up. Showers were very clean and the water lovely and hot. With all the rain some of the ground had gone quite muddy - you just had to avoid driving over it. We paid €20 pn with ACSI - which was excellent value. Easy access onto R1 cycle route following the track as you turn right out of the campsite - great ride. Didn't visit the NP. Too expensive.

Paid at machine - took ages to authorise. Followed instructions and only charged €5. The parking supervisor checked - all OK. Lots of motorhomes parked up. About 1030pm a white Audi drove into the parking lot - music blaring. Soon after another car turned up and both cars ended up driving round until about 11pm - the Audi being the most prevalent. Once they left, the car park was completely silent. 10 minute walk into town. Ideal base.

Very few ACSI pitches left when we arrived on 30 Sep, but managed to get a pitch stuck on a corner opposite the sanitation block and with a view of the bay. If we wanted a sea view it was +€8. Showers reasonable, but water stopped mid hair wash. I had to wait about a minute or so until the start button would operate again. Good WiFi coverage. We took the boat to Trogir. €10 each return journey. Lovely beach. 3 nights with ACSI was €88.80.
Sitecode: 23139
Spent 5 nights here and it was lovely. Chose our own pitch. Using ACSI card we worked out there was a surcharge. We paid €27.20 pn. We were near sanitation block 3. Ladies shower quickly ran out of hot water - I suspect due to the dish washing area being next door. Men's didn't seem to suffer. Washing machine €8.50 a wash. Huge drum - I washed all clothes in one wash, bedding and towels in another. Beach a downhill/uphill slog but worth it.

It served its purpose as a base to visit the Old Town. Other than that, it didn't have a lot going for it. The showers were dated, some in need of repair, and not overly clean - even though staff were in operation. By far the most disappointing site we have stayed on. TIP: Buy a Debrovnik Pass online - it includes bus travel to/from the Old Town - the city walls walk alone costs €35!
Sitecode: 10066
DO NOT BOOK ONLINE! I didn't notice the €25 non-refundable booking fee until I got the invoice. On saying that, I wasn't able to book an ACSI pitch, but on arrival my ACSI card was honoured. OK €27 for the pitch - add on to that all the added extras like tourist tax etc, and the total amount for 2 adults was €158 for 4 nights! Good clean showers. Plenty of hot water. Split an easy-ish cycle ride - but lots of construction work enroute.
Sitecode: 19684
Not the site we aimed to stay on, but this one had availability. It's a pity I missed reading about the €7 surcharge on certain pitches, it was only pointed out to me once the invoice was raised. As it was, all the ACSI pitches were full, so we would have had a surcharge either way. Some pitches had a €4 surcharge. Immaculate facilities with hot showers. Easy cycle ride to Zadar and the island of Vir - which was lovely.

Lovely little campsite - fabulously clean sanitary facilities - however we ended up showering in our motorhome as the water was cold 🥶. OK if the weather had been warmer, but not on chilly days like today.

Ideal for visiting the nature park. We arrived on the Sunday evening at the "new" reception and were told by another camper to pitch up and someone would come to us. Indeed they did. We were told to check in at the "old" reception in the morning. No problem. Free use of washing machine (located in men's sanitary block). Showers clean and HOT! Price €26.60 per night. Great value. We pitched next to a covered picnic table which was a bonus.
Sitecode: 158786
What a fantastic little campsite. Extremely friendly owners. Superb location. Great showers, even though you had to hold the shower head yourself. Even out of season Danijel made sure all the facilities were available to us. The bar was operated on "trust" and paid for on leaving. Note: if you have downloaded maps for offline use - you won't find it on the map. If ever we visit this area again we would definitely stop over. here.
Sitecode: 88153
Ideal for visiting the city. We arrived early afternoon on a Friday and the car park was quite busy. On the Saturday we cycled into the city via an easy cycle route. When we arrived back (about 5) the car park was extremely busy. By 7 most of the cars had dispersed. It was reasonably quiet at night. Lots of mosquitoes, so have plenty insect repellent/fly spray. Interesting place especially with regards to the Iron Curtain and Cold War history.
Sitecode: 57503
Super little campsite - though levellers are most definitely needed on the "lumpy" grass. I queried the bill as we had been charged for 2 motorhomes. An oversight. In total we paid €24 a night - adults €4pp, tourist tax €1pp, ehu €6 per night, campers €8 per night. Showers outdated BUT quite the best showers we have had at a campsite. Continuous hot water and clean. Washing machine €3. Friendly staff who don't speak English, but we managed.
Sitecode: 107633
Excellent stopover. Secure with the barrier. We paid by credit card in £ sterling - £6.32 which was excellent. Had we paid in Euros it would have been €10. Definitely recommend even though it is a good walk from the museum entrance. We wished we'd used the bikes!
Sitecode: 101758
We need more of these fantastic stopovers. It was full to capacity last night, but tonight there are spaces. Hoping to come back tomorrow night after our visit to Auschwitz - which is just over an hour away. The little park opposite is worthy of a walk round, as is the churchyard on the hill.
Sitecode: 54941
Perfect location and facilities a bonus., not so quiet though. First night we were woken at 3am by water intermittently running through the service station. This lasted for well over half an hour. Our second night there was live music from the stadium. It didn't particularly bother us as we managed to sleep but on waking at 1.45am there was still alot of noise from the revellers. Noise also drifted up from the fair in town, but wasn't too bad.
Sitecode: 104012
Extremely popular. We arrived just after 2pm and most of the designated pitches were full - including one used by a car. We were fortunate to get parked at the space farthest away and nearest the grassy bank. Only one of the power points behind the parking works (plug #2 of the second column), however, it also looks as though the power point at the service area works. Very quiet at night. Ideal for visiting the town.
Sitecode: 10366
We arrived just after 4pm and after utilising the service point before the entrance we made our way to the parking area. Already it was very busy but we managed to get in towards the end of the road. Many arriving in the evening were not so lucky. Some campers had spread themselves over 2 pitches, which was very selfish. Payment is via a machine near the toilet block. Lots of traffic noise. Glad we weren't parked under the bridge!
Sitecode: 107789
Perfect overnight stop. The noise from the sports fields abated after 8pm. The traffic seemed to start about 5am - but nothing too much. We too ended up at the cemetery car park initially, but Google maps gave us the correct directions for the parking area.
Sitecode: 51234
Perfect parking for a late night/early morning ferry. Quieter than Marine Parade.
Sitecode: 106521
Lovely stopover. We were the only ones there. Further up towards the golf course there was a sign prohibiting motorhomes/overnight parking, but we suspected it was for the parking bays within the complex itself. No one bothered us whilst we were there (14 March).
Sitecode: 48770
We parked on the pier for one night on 11 March. Extremely windy and rainy night, but we were fine. We saw the Garda drive past a couple of times, but they left us alone. We had hoped to fill up with water next day by asking permission at Harbour Master's office, but by the time we left there were too many cars in the vicinity so we didn't in the end. We parked lengthways on the pier. We were the only motorhome there.
Sitecode: 70695
Booked in at Cafe. Payment by cash only. Unfortunately we were cashless so we were advised to go to the local shop where we could get "cash back". Our cards were declined this option. In the end the young lady in the Cafe let us pay with our card - she would sort it later with the owner. The site itself was tidy - but the "free" WiFi didn't work. We were told in the Cafe that there were issues. Village was pretty and the shop well stocked.

Stayed over St Patrick's Day weekend. Very quiet. About 4 outfits were parked up over the 2 days - but also some of the allocated bays were taken up by parked cars during the day - which was unfortunate. It wasn't a problem over the weekend we were there, but once the season gets busier it could significantly reduce the amount of bays available to use, but I suspect the later in the day you arrive, the more chance you have of securing a bay.

Arrived about 4.30. Office closed. Rang the out of hours number. "Had I booked?" " No". No problem. I gave my details over the phone and I was told to go online to pay. Shortly after, the "manager" appeared with 2 shower tokens. I enquired about laundry. Included in price, so I managed 2 loads (two washing machines, one tumble dryer). The facilities block looked to have been freshly repainted. Very impressed. Good WiFi coverage.

Stayed one night in order to go to a local pub for the Six Nations Rugby. Hubby happy. England beat Ireland. Great atmosphere in Hillery's bar. Toilets at site - ok. Electricity 4amp, so be careful not to trip the supply. As stated, no bins, so all rubbish has to be taken away. When we visited diesel was the cheapest we'd seen for a long time at the local garage. Price for night now €20 incl ehu. Only 4 of us parked up last night.
Sitecode: 66632
Great place to stay for visiting Cliffs. We arrived about 5 - told "unofficially" to return at 7 once attraction had closed. We bought 2 tickets online (cheaper) for 8-10.59 slot next morning. No one checked tickets. By the time 11am came both car parks were getting very busy. Coordinates took us to the coach parking. Motorhomes park in main car park.
Sitecode: 67532
Had the place to ourselves on night of 29 Feb. We were aiming for the Folk Village Museum but had to turn back because of the snow. Beautiful area. Didn't venture down to the beach.
Sitecode: 21830
Perfect for one night. We didn't bother with ehu but filled up free of charge with water. The Tourist Information has a wealth of info - we came away with leaflets galore! Busy for the time of year. There were 4 of us there.
Sitecode: 77118
Stayed over for one night 4 March. Only one other motorhome here. Very windy - but we've had worse! No dixie toilets - possibly as it's out of season.
Sitecode: 68089
We are the only ones here. It is sublime!
Sitecode: 104090
Extremely tight squeeze to get in just to empty toilet cassette. We needed water but we weren't too desperate as we were conscious of blocking the parking area. It was 1130am when we arrived. Parking spaces either side of the service area had cars parked in them. Google translate failed but it looks like tokens for the water/ehu can be purchased from the K garage nearby plus another 2 shop in the vicinity.
Sitecode: 100236
Perfect stopover for the early morning ferry from Cairnryan. Lots of lorries but plenty of parking available. Remarkably quiet overnight. Woken up about 0530 with the sound of passing traffic - so that wasn't too bad. It is quite exposed, but even the wind didn't bother us - we've had worse!
Sitecode: 20588
Lovely and quiet and not particularly busy. We parked up near the bottom - just being sure not to block the farmer's access gate. There is a water tap in the ladies toilet - we managed to attach our short hose to it to fill up. Toilets were reasonable. Tea room on the corner - just unfortunate it wasn't open the days we were there.
Sitecode: 88185
Plenty of room in car park adjacent to the Inn - but it is February. Extremely windy so not much sleep between 1 and 3.30am. Food excellent - expensive but huge portions. Lamb hot pot was beautiful. Still £10 to overnight.
Sitecode: 54188
Ideal place for dumping grey and black waste - but WATER not drinking water as stated in features.
Sitecode: 98584
When we arrived we weren't entirely sure we were able to park there (going by the signage). We spoke to some people we saw at the Marina who said we were fine. We walked round both the Arboretum and the Botanical Gardens. The bus into the city is very regular from further up the road. In the evening lots of boat owners arrived to sail their dinghies. I think whoever stated that 17 motorhomes could stay overnight is delusional.
Sitecode: 84258
The photos are quite deceiving as you can't actually park on the tarmac as it is blocked off to ALL vehicles. There is plenty room elsewhere mind. Lovely location - ideal for visiting the Tirpitz Museum and Alta by bike - which we intend to do whilst we are here.
Sitecode: 70900
Lovely little site. Facilities clean but limited. Stayed 2 nights. Laundry €5 a wash - we did 4 lots and didn't even use the tumble dryer as we dried our washing on the line next to our pitch - €20. Charged €74 overall for the 2 nights which worked out as €20 for the ehu! We can't think how we used that much especially as we paid the day before we left. Enquired about the sauna - was told €20!
Sitecode: 3603
Very nearly missed the location. Turn off just before fire station on LHS. Very popular location. We got last place but possibly room for small unit next to us. EHU via an app. Downloaded app. Couldn't work out how to use it, so uninstalled and unplugged. None of the other outfits were plugged in. Very quiet. Chem waste can be discharged at waste water point. Ideal stopover enroute to Denmark.
