Birsay Outdoor Centre and Campsite

Large grassed area with plenty of space around pitches. Shower/toilets in a portakabin so feel a bit dated, the electric shower worked well, had adjustable temperature & flow rate. FREE to use washing machine and tumble drier located in the ladies. Only downside NO chemical waste disposal as not on mains. You need to take your waste to the campsite at Stromness where you can empty it for free.

Booked in advance on internet. On arrival notice with our pitch number ( we also received email confirming booking and Pitch number). Very peaceful and quiet site, lots of walks to village and over causeway to the island. Facilities old but always clean.
