After arriving (and paying 14 euros including the deposit), my wife was stared at by several men who came out of the caravans on the site... then came some neglected-looking children and some women who stared at us too... we felt so uncomfortable (like never before in the 8 years we've had our RV) that we left the site immediately and wrote off the 14 euros we had already paid. What a pity!

The campsite is large, functional and the hygiene facilities are quite good and very clean. The beach and the sea are fantastic and make up for the long journey. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not suitable at all: the campsite places great value on sustainability, but the restaurant only serves disposable plastic tableware (both for food and drinks). Mountains of rubbish are produced every day...

Very well maintained and everything in very good condition. 10 minutes walk to the town center with some restaurants. Highly recommended for one night.

Very nice, well equipped and very friendly staff. About 15 minutes walk to the nearest bus to Edinburgh center. No shops or restaurants in the immediate area.
