For me, a big no. It looks much nicer in the photos than in real life. I don't think the pool is well-maintained. You can't swim in the lake. I certainly wouldn't come in July or August! Way too hot to do anything. Too many mosquitoes and insects! You don't feel like you're in Italy, but in the Netherlands. The showers and washing-up area could be better maintained! The bar was fine.

The campsite is not a 4-star campsite. You have to pay for the shower and for hot water to do the dishes. The camper passages are also sludge. This makes it difficult to turn around, especially for a camper weighing more than 3.5 tons. We did have a quiet and spacious pitch, though.

Highly recommended. Beautiful, well-maintained campsite with all amenities. Quiet, friendly, and courteous owners. Ideally located, close to the town center and a great starting point for hikes. A lovely 12 km walk to Achouffe. Definitely visit the bakery in Houffalize town center. It's delicious and freshly baked! We'll definitely be back.
