Beautifully situated camper pitch right next to Lake Schildmeer. The check-in function takes some getting used to. You have to calculate in advance how much power you need. On the day of departure, our power had just run out, and I attempted to buy an extra 1 kWh. I thought this had worked because I had to pay 60 cents, and I did so. BUT no power. It was supposed to take 5 minutes before it was activated. But no. After half an hour, still nothing. So, just without.

The Grondman family has really got it all together. Last September, when we were here, they were working hard on the new facilities, the toilet block, etc. Just look at what it has become. Perfectly executed. With a bicycle storage area including charging facilities as well. Top notch, folks.

We were here both in mid-August and mid-September. The owners were incredibly friendly, cheerful, and had a great sense of humor. The restroom building wasn't ready yet, BUT I saw it had just been officially opened. We'll definitely be back in the spring to use it as well. 👍👋🥳

We were there again. This time for a visit to the wonderful flowering heath. For us (from Nunspeet with its heath, etc.) Ballooerveld remains the most beautiful.

the location is ideal for exploring the area and visiting Bolsward via a beautiful cycle route. The reservation system (online and local) does not work optimally. The spot we reserved was occupied and did not want to move. As a result, we got a less comfortable place. Shame.

What is happening here in such a short time is amazing. A wonderful base to visit this part of beautiful Drenthe. Don't forget the Blues cafes ;)

we were here 8 years ago and knew a lot had changed. Arnold and Karin have turned it into a great camper spot. No wonder they won a 1st prize. We would like to confirm how good it is to "stay" there. CHAPEAU

Once again we stayed here for a few days last year, both in spring and autumn. Super place with super bio (own local) products. friendly managers/hostess. perfect location for a cycle tour in nature or the city (Assen)

The family is doing well. great place and clean sanitary facilities. Starting point to visit the pleasant town of Rijssen and of course explore the Sallandse Heuvelrug.

Once again we have been here for a few days. super friendly owner greets you and your stay at this great place can't go wrong.👍👏. They also have the option to rent a Farm room. nice for extra guests/families

forgot to post a well deserved review here. Stayed here for a few days with family from Groningen. great location for excursions and cycling trips in the Groningen/Drenthe landscape and even to Friesland. super neat campsite with very friendly, helpful managers. Highly recommended.

a great place for the "old" camper. you pay for what you need. We come here at least once a year. Handy to reserve a place behind the office. Always calm. Now that the main road is being worked on, there is also less traffic. ;)

after a stormy overnight stay in Borculo we came here to visit the flamingos. What a great relaxed place this is. friendly owner and everything that has been said before 👍👏

after consultation with the manager it turned out to be no problem to get a place. welcome from 11 am. as previously published. a nice place to come back more often.👍👏

this place had been on our list for a long time and finally there was enough room (deliberately chosen after the May holiday). My wife (born in Kampen) enjoys the great view of the IJssel even more.

Unexpectedly made a reservation at this motorhome. what a great base for cycling trips in the area such as Den Bosch. How hot it was 🥵 those days. Breakdown with the e-bike is perfectly handled by the manager by engaging a local bicycle repairman. Top action Ben. We'll be back for sure.

On arrival we were nevertheless surprised by the poor infrastructure of the location. the aerial photos suggested otherwise. The corresponding price was therefore too high in my opinion. The place does have potential with better maintenance etc.

we have been coming to the family for years. It's always nice to have a "homecoming" feeling. It's just a pity that the renovation is going on until half past nine in the evening. Other guests therefore decided to leave.

It's been a few years since we were here (2014) A big change with regard to toilet building. Cheers! We hope to come back more often.

Once again "lost" and arrived in Aachen. Was again a few years ago, but still the same service and facilities. Excellent base for shopping in Aachen. And definitely visit Burtscheid!

Great location for visiting Zutphen and the surrounding area. Spacious places. This motorhome will grow in popularity. In addition to my earlier review, I must also report that the group present (family celebration) with their football promotions was not a success. I can understand that the ball once rolls from the field to the campers, but then keep shooting between campers and as a result the ball hit the camper is less fun. I have expressed my displeasure and hope that an alternative will be created for this.

This campsite has a high level of facilities and service, making it very popular. In high season it is advisable to call first if there is room.

Super friendly comfortable campsite with excellent camper places. We have been here several times with pleasure. All facilities available for an SVR price.
