we had reserved a place online in advance. Upon arrival the gate was closed, but after we rang the bell a friendly and helpful man came to open it. The campsite, where there are mainly permanent caravans (some better cared for than others), is basic with clean sanitary facilities. For a quiet night in transit, this is no longer necessary for us
