Beautiful campsite, warm welcome, very friendly staff. Diversity of vegetation creates a pleasant atmosphere. Large camping spots. Sufficient and clean sanitary facilities. Close (within walking distance) of several cozy terraces on the beach and in the town of Châtelaillon-plage. Eating delicious oysters. Cycling along the coast to La Rochelle is also recommended.

The campsite charges 20 euros so-called 'reservation costs' for a booking via the website. The customer does all the administrative work and also receives a fine of 20 euros! Ridiculous! The beach is crawling with sand fleas.

You have to pay separately for each fart: access to the motorhome platform, access to the sanitary building, water in the shower, drinking water, ... add everything together and it is more expensive than a real campsite. In addition, far too little sanitary. Actually only suitable for campers with built-in sanitary facilities.
