The campsite is excellent. We were pitched in the meadow opposite the entrance (locals call it the "floodplain"). After the heavy rain of the past few days, it was clear why. Luckily, we were on the higher (and dry) side. The pitches aren't level, but that can be fixed. The sanitary facilities are excellent: spacious and clean. The beach and harbor are a 5-minute walk away, and the town center is 20 minutes away. A bit expensive though: over 40 euros per night.

Great location on the edge of the village. A good base for exploring the castle and village or for a walk or bike ride through the surrounding area. The restroom facilities are excellent. Recommended: a small chocolate shop in the parking lot. The camper area is spacious: there were 12 campers, and everyone had plenty of room to sit outside, and more campers could have been accommodated as well.
