During peak season, we called in the afternoon to see if we could book a pitch for a few nights. We had the same great experience last year in July. The atmosphere at the campsite is fantastic. Beautiful, spacious pitches, spotlessly clean sanitary facilities, and evening meals at the bar upstairs. Almost all Dutch people. A quiet, charming little campsite – great for cycling and walking. Quiet in the evenings/nights. Marieke and her team are super friendly. One of our favorite campsites.

Great experience. We wanted to stay 3 nights, but we stayed 8. It's a small campsite with large pitches. Lots of French people, but no real seasonal pitches. The campsite is right on a lovely lake where dogs are also allowed to swim. Everyone says hello. The atmosphere is really nice. The reception is very well organized, with bread in the morning. Food truck twice a week. The cycling and hiking are fantastic. It's unbelievable that there are so few Dutch people. High season: €17.80 per night (2p), including electricity. Highly recommended.

On July 23rd, in the middle of peak season, we arrived during lunch break – but that was no problem at all for Matt and Kim. What relaxed, hospitable, and service-oriented young owners! The campsite exudes peace and tranquility. A particularly amusing detail: the chickens happily roaming around your awning, searching for everything you offer them. Twice a week, Kim cooks a delicious meal, and you eat together at long tables. A top-notch 10*

A wonderful, peaceful campsite, even from July 11th to 15th. All the good reviews are true! International crowd, great atmosphere. Enjoyed cycling; a flat tire in Cuéllar was fixed within 24 hours. A breath of fresh air compared to the uninviting campsites in Northern Spain with fixed pitches, Spanish families, and TVs in the awning. Thanks to Lisanne and the team for their hospitality! Only downside - (just) this year the restaurant is closed. Making our own tapas was fine.

The restaurant looks good, but the campsite is neglected. Sanitary facilities are old but clean. Showers are behind a curtain. Toilets have paper. The pitches are demarcated by very tall pine trees, which gives a rather oppressive feeling. There was only one campervan, and the rest of the campsite was empty on July 10th. What a shame. We drove 10 minutes to Camping Bierzo. A much better campsite. (It's a shame, because the restaurant at this campsite seems better. At Bierzo, they only serve sandwiches.)

Wonderfully quiet campsite. So no fixed pitches with awnings and TVs :-). We had a large pitch in the new section. Wonderfully quiet. Very helpful owner! Walking along the coast was fantastic. We did it with our mountain bikes. Cathedral Beach and Rinlo were great. Sanitary facilities were super clean, washing machines and dryers were perfect. And 20-25 degrees, so not too hot. High season, just a pitch. Paid 37.50 per night. Nice restaurant with a limited menu.

Beautiful campsite, perfect and clean sanitary facilities, very helpful and friendly campsite owners. Restaurant with Greek chef is really great and his wife is a super hostess. Nice swimming pool. International audience, not only Dutch. Almost 21 euros per night. Stayed for a week. Visited all (also large) places in the area. Super fun. Were in place 26 with a beautiful view. 16th campsite on our trip, one of the toppers. 10 stars!

Rightly the best Camper- contact camping of 2024. Mega large places (our friends next to us were uncomfortably far away) most beautiful sanitary facilities ever seen, table d'hotes very tasty and cozy. Animals, soccer field, swimming pool, walking and cycling routes to download on the site. Also for families with kids a great campsite for the summer. Almost only Dutch guests which we found nice. For us this is one of the best campsites ever visited.

Small campsite, friendly welcome, quick communication in advance. Large pitches. Small toilet building that looks good but has been cleaned with a French touch and does not smell fresh. Beautiful walk to the waterfall, good jeu de boules court and nice swimming pool. Otherwise a bit boring and quiet. Large hedges between the pitches. Top for dog owners. Just outside the campsite a fantastic dog swimming spot. However, many grass awns and annoying sticky balls.

Lovely campsite without hedges. Everything was great. Even during the busy Ascension weekend no ‘hallygally’ feeling. Nice, small swimming pool, a nice restaurant and good sanitary facilities. The sea is across the road, and dogs are allowed. Valhalla for dog owners! With 10amp 31 euros per night. International audience. Nice cycling nearby. Airport 100th anniversary, therefore a bit busier but not disturbing.

A park-like, very well-maintained campsite. Large pitches with shade and sun. Sanitary facilities nice, clean, soap and toilet paper. Swimming pool, restaurant, bar, all open. Tennis court, playground, table tennis, jeu de boules court. Very friendly and flexible owners - had unfolded the trailer tent in the park area, which is not an official place, they can just stay there. Comes in our top 5 overall. Only 3 places occupied, unbelievable!!!

Very large places, super nice sanitary facilities, 20 euros per night with acsi, bread on the place. Only small disadvantage... rock hard ground. With tent a challenge, but with nails and pegs easy to do and normal for southern France. There are also places with a pergola and picnic table for extra shade. No restaurant, they are renovating. Swimming pool already open, only the weather is a bit disappointing. Really recommended this campsite.

Friendly welcome. Campsite with grass and lanes. Many wooden caravans with French holidaymakers. Nice restaurant. We have a large spot for our trailer tent with awning and canopy. Sanitary facilities look excellent and clean. Many showers, washbasins and squat toilets. There is only 1 "normal" toilet, but the wooden caravans have their own toilet, which is a plus. Beach 1 minute walk. Pay with Acsi 20.74 for 2p. Real French atmosphere.

We are on a large spot and look out over a football field and a mountain. It feels like a real French small campsite, with international guests. Enough toilets (with toilet paper) and hot showers where you can set the temperature yourself. Every day there is a different three-course menu. You can walk to the village in 10 minutes, and you can cycle and geocaching here. The owners are very friendly. Around 19 euros per night.

A former football field with a cosy bar and terrace. You can see from the sanitary facilities that it used to be a football changing room :-) Ladies and gentlemen separated, so no problem at all and everything nice and new. It was very quiet when we were there. We were allowed to choose our own spot and register later. Swimming pool and small shop with bread within walking distance. Small quaint Italian village. Camping closes on 23 September. Will definitely come back again.

in 1989 we were here for the first time (until 1992), when the previous owners had just started. The camping site was taken over by an organisation and you can tell. (pay in advance every day, take the receipt with you when you buy bread). Staff is friendly. With a tent you have great spots with a view of the lake. We with a trailer tent on top at no. 89. Was great in a somewhat colder period with sun all day. Sanitary facilities clean and okay. For water rats 10*

Besides all the positive points from the reviews above are true, we found the hospitality, service and friendliness really remarkable. Of course our friends were not allowed to check out of the safari tent until 1400 without payment. The safari tents are also worth more than 5 stars. New and beautiful inside. Really super camping. Walking to Avignon and then with the ferry is also great. And dogs are also welcome. One of our top experiences.

First we had chosen a campsite in Chagny. Very good reviews, but when we arrived a sea of cars and caravans packed together. We drove on to this campsite. An oasis of peace, an almost empty campsite, lake, nice swimming pool, very clean sanitary facilities with toilet paper, friendly reception. An oasis of peace in a beautiful area. This campsite is highly recommended, pay 28 euros 2p. Good price-quality ratio.

Great campsite (so 4 stars) but not for us. Hedges and the feeling that it is packed with caravans and cars, especially Dutch people who all look at each other's place. We could stand at the roundabout at the end of a lane in a nice place, but we found the sound of the road the last straw. If you are looking for a small international quiet Municipal, you have no business here (today?). To each his own!

Beautiful terraced campsite with a view. Sanitary facilities outdated but super clean. In the building 'upstairs' with a new mixer tap and separate hand shower. Lots of water, so a lovely shower. At the end of the campsite a beautiful walk of 11 km starts. You can shorten it yourself. Visited Schumannseck. A very special memorial forest from WWll. Campsite owners very friendly. A hardworking young family, who started here last year. Topper!

When you arrive, it seems like a campsite with a lot of rules, but in practice it doesn't feel that way. You are on a field with 8 places, which gives you the feeling of being on a small campsite. Sanitary facilities are great, and super clean. Everything is very well organized with super friendly relaxed owners. Opposite the campsite is a forest where dogs can swim. from the campsite beautiful cycle paths e.g. to Brielle - beautiful city.

Small campsite, real French feeling. Beautiful swimming pool for such a small campsite. Delicious home-made pizzas, even brought to your spot. Sanitary facilities a bit dated, but super clean. Managers super friendly. One of the nicest campsites on our somewhat longer trip. We stayed longer. The village seems unesco worthy. Cycled further around the lakes, was also beautiful. For us worth 5 big stars.

We also agree with all the good reviews. great place, had a nice piece of meat with fries and lettuce, in the middle of the high season for 17.50 per night. Service 10 stars. beautiful flat spots with a view.

It immediately feels good. Nice, well-maintained campsite. Lovely beach - cool off in the Loire for people and dogs. Current isn't too bad. Simple restaurant, relaxed atmosphere. We were at 45 at the entrance, it didn't seem like the nicest place at first, but it was great, under the trees. Arrived spontaneously on August 1 for 3 days, stayed longer. Nice cycling and geocaching near Gennes. Had a nice lunch on one of the terraces along the way.

Stayed here for 3 nights from July 29 to August 1. Arrived at 12 noon. The barrier always opens. You can choose a spot and register with the very friendly staff at the end of the afternoon. A real Municipal, with a swimming pool just outside the gate. There is thorough cleaning 3 times a day. Nice and spacious, many French and other nationalities. About 25 euros 2p with electricity. You have to do BLOIS! The most beautiful city so far.

French laissez-faire mentality with Dutch quality. New sanitary facilities, super clean, nice restaurant, choose your own spot on large fields, not busy in July
