Great campsite!! Spacious pitches, by the Lot river or in a row next to it. There are also plenty of hiker's cabins. Close to a nice little town, and a U Express supermarket around the corner. Market on Friday mornings. We were disappointed with the cycling; towards Estaing it was just forest and a lot of climbing. And along the Truyère river on a main road. Sanitary facilities were fine! Swimming pool not available. Only 17.- per night.

We saw the campsite. Everything looks old and messy from a distance. We drove on.

A fine but otherwise uninviting campsite. Management is absent between 11:00 and 16:00. Some hikers on the Camino GR65 sleep here. A few pitches on the side of the park are in the shade, the rest are in full sun due to planted small trees. The cycle route along the Lot to Espalion (on the left side of the bridge) is recommended. The surroundings are stunning!

Nice campsite! Although you quickly notice upon arrival that maintenance is a bit of an issue. Overgrown hedges, etc. Sanitary facilities are basic and mixed. For daytime activities, there is a pizza truck with delicious food. There is a bread service (from 09:00), but there is a good bakery nearby in the village. Beautiful Voie Verte cycle route on a former railway line through the vineyards.

Nice campsite! It is very large, though, with many chalets. There is a swimming pool and restaurant. There is a bread roll service. You have regular camping pitches, and for 25.- per night, a spacious motorhome pitch. Electricity is via a rechargeable card. And that was lightning fast…. You are in Maastricht in half an hour.

Lovely forest campsite near the Drents-Friese Wold National Park. Beautiful, spacious individual pitches in the middle of nature. Disadvantage: hot water requires a credit card-like connection.

A wonderfully pleasant forest campsite! Plenty of space, lots of greenery, and a concert of various birds. Management was busy, they said, but always friendly. Many walking and cycling opportunities. We were shocked by the prices of the rolls, though. For 1.90 for a croissant, you can also go to the bakery #Twijnstra just a kilometer away in the village.

Had a pleasant stay. Arrival via a barrier with license plate registration. Reception was very friendly. The pitches are paved, making them sturdy even in heavy rain. Plenty of walking and cycling opportunities. The price/quality ratio is very favorable! Advice: it is also possible to make online reservations on the day itself. Tip: there is a very good steakhouse opposite the park.

Great campsite. Primarily used as a stopover. Open until 10:00 PM! Management absent upon arrival. Present from 6:00 PM. Many grass pitches. Baker arrives at the site at 8:30 AM. Sanitary facilities are good, although 80% were locked (which saves cleaning) in the off-season.

Great campsite. Frequently used as a stopover. Large pitches. Sanitary facilities are adequate. Management is often absent, or elsewhere on the grounds. If you call, they come immediately. The Via Allier cycle route is just around the corner. The town of Issoire was a bit of a disappointment.

A solid campsite. Open all year round. Secure with a barrier. The restaurant is still open. You can also order bread there. A small Carrefour (no meat) is a 5-minute bike ride away. The lack of hot water in the evening was a bit of a disappointment. Cycle along the Canal de Midi to the charming city of Béziers. Don't arrive from Montany (maximum 2.10 m wide crossing).

Untidy campsite. Lots of permanent residents. The road there is challenging, but doable. Communication via Translate. There's a foul odor in the restrooms. There are barking dogs on the property. The town of Besalú is very beautiful!!

Great campsite! Break between 1:00 and 3:00 PM. You can order a barra. The restaurant is surprisingly good. Order rabbit and fries for €16, and you get a whole grilled rabbit on your plate. Sanitary facilities are just fine. Push-button showers. Located on perhaps the most beautiful cycle path in Spain: the Val de Zafán. The section between Bot and Xerta is particularly beautiful! There is no supermarket nearby.

Great campsite! Beautiful pool, close to the sea, and a 20-minute walk from the old town/castle. We couldn't contact the management beforehand with questions. Lots of Germans. The sanitary facilities are fine and clean, but small. Mercadona is a 10-minute bike ride away. Following the Eurovelo 8 cycle route to Vinaròs, along the coast, is worth it!

Great campsite! Despite the management's lack of solution-oriented thinking, we had a good stay. The internet and WiFi were very poor. Working digitally was practically impossible. Zaragoza is a surprisingly charming city! It's a half-hour bike ride to the city center.

Great campsite! You're side-by-side in sections, so you're looking at your neighbor's side. Sanitary facilities and (heated) swimming pool are excellent. Pleasant promenade. Not much to do in the surrounding area. Some Dutch people behave like the English: loud music, talking loudly, and singing along. Section 95!

Great campsite! It excels in hygiene and safety, which you can see and feel in everything. Bread service is provided by Maria in the shop. She's also the chef at restaurant Ohana. It's a shame the campsite isn't right on the beach, but the surprisingly pleasant boulevard is just a short bike ride away. Cycling in the surrounding area is mediocre. The charming town of Sitges is remarkably LGBTQ+ friendly.

A very nice campsite. Very friendly management. Recently a new restroom facility. Bread service. Close to Lombrives, the largest cave (not open daily outside the summer season) in France. Access is via the town of Tarascon. The turnoff from the N-road is a maximum height of 2.20 m.

Great campsite! Access via the Camping-Car Park app. All the essential amenities are available. Even a disabled toilet! A very pretty village. But a cycling route via the D23 and D43 is a must-do in our opinion.

Lovely campsite. Friendly management. Heated sanitary facilities. Bread service. Spacious pitches. And of course, a good base for (walking) to the enormous castle. The wooded area is also great for cycling. Open until the end of October.

Great CP! Fully automatic booking via the Camping-Car Park app. The sanitary facilities are dated. It's 100 meters away, so you have to walk around a guesthouse on the right. It's pitch black and quiet at night. A half-hour bike ride to the museum village of Oradour-sur-Glane.

Great farm campsite! The sanitary facilities are a bit dated. The outdoor toilets don't have lights. You'll receive a mosquito plug at check-in. Only at sunset do we experience an army of dancing mosquitoes for an hour. The on-site farm shop is open from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The atmosphere is pleasant and peaceful.

A lovely campsite with plenty of options. Checking in was super easy! The sanitary facilities were excellent. Child-friendly too, you heard that right... For peace and quiet, this isn't the right option. The price is a bit high, although it is peak season at the time of writing. We paid €190 for three people for three nights!

A friendly and tidy welcome. After the gate, the campsite feels a bit cluttered. Dirty old mobile homes are scattered here and there. The sanitary facilities are mixed, but otherwise clean and excellent. Zwolle is beautiful! A Hasselt Circuit is a lovely cycling route. Tip: don't miss the nearby pedestrian and bicycle ferry at Haerst! Unique!

Non-profit camping, was on the bill. The nice managers proudly tell that they do their part voluntarily. There are about 40 permanent guests, and there are three places for caravans / campers. Everything is very dated. We did not want to shower here .... A Fort Oranje vibe. The toilet was therefore fine! And that in the middle of a residential area.

Typical transit campsite. Difficult to get in touch with, for questions or to make a reservation. Called several times during the day, and got a French-language tape… Around 16:00 the campsite was complete, and there were still three spots available at the adjacent CP. There are also caravans there. So book in time!

Very nice campsite! Large pitches, mixed sanitary facilities but ok, two beautiful swimming pools, and arrange your bread before 17:00. Good cycling possibilities, both to the beautiful - must see - La Rochelle (make sure you get on the white gravel path), and the other way, via the well-marked Atlantic cycle route La Vélodyssée (surprisingly nice). Reception open from 09:00-12:00 and 14:00-18:00.

Nice camping, but the sanitary facilities could do with an update. The constantly wet floor is dangerous! At 6 minutes by bike there is a Via Verde, towards the abandoned mining village Arditurri, or to Pasai (halfway Donostia).

Nice campsite. Reception was mediocre. Brief explanation. Spacious pitches, under an umbrella of overgrown plane trees. Sanitary facilities fine. Toilet paper in the hallway. The beautiful, enormous beach is on the other side of the peninsula. The city of Laredo is without atmosphere. Taking the bike on the ferry to Santoña (city of the anchovies) was fun.

Nice campsite, but not directly on the coast. And that feels like a loss afterwards. Sanitary facilities more than fine. Restaurant and shop just fine. Spacious places. Tip: for a beautiful view of San Vicente and a sunset go to Bar El Rayo Verde, and enjoy! Furthermore, a visit to the Gaudi House in Comillas is recommended. Good to do by bike.

Nice terraced campsite. Especially the upper pitches have a nice view. Pitches are a bit cramped. We were able to get to the pitch with 7.5 metres. Sanitary facilities are fine. Exit is viciously steep and dangerous, because there is a through road. Potes disappointed us. Easy to do with a bike. Inexperienced hikers for the famous Ruta del Cares start in Cain. That is the easiest and most beautiful.

Nice CP in a beautiful environment. Cold water in sanitary facilities you have to accept. Is not cleaned daily. Base to walk the Ruta del Cares in Cain (9 km). Cycling there is steep. With camper the narrow road is not recommended. With taxi a lot of hassle to organize that (in Spanish). One way trip at 30, - is a very steep price.

Perhaps the most beautifully situated campsite in Spain. Surrounded by beautiful rock formations. Remote management. Report to Hotel del Alba. When renewing, our registration had disappeared, and we would have already paid…. Sanitary facilities ok. Ukrainian cleaner. Small shop in the village, who has used the price doubler. Monopoly! Baker closed on Tuesdays. Fantastic cycling in both valleys. What a beautiful setting! E-bike!!

Cycled past today. Still closed. Access road narrow and steep. Otherwise a beautiful location, and very suitable for walking in the mountains.

Great campsite, but relatively little to do in the area. Unless you want to walk along a main road (Camino) or cycle. Owner prefers not to show himself. Only meet to pay. If you want all the peace, a fast-flowing river and the sound of birds, then you are in the right place here.

Nice camper park! Facilities available. Management decisive. Sanitary surprisingly fresh! At the ladies' side there is a traffic jam in the morning. Park closed at night, and therefore safe. By bike in 20 minutes to the heart of the city. Tip: in combination with the cathedral museum you can visit the church of San Martiño Pinario. That is beautiful!!

Nice campsite with a wide view. The best view, with a good chance of spotting dolphins, is at the back of the site. Somewhat small pitches. Bread service. Modern sanitary facilities. There is a walking route along the campsite.

Nice campsite! Comfortable pitches. Sanitary facilities fine. Restaurant well visited. Meals as in a canteen. Cycling to both the coast (Ancora) and along the river Minho (Valença) is easy. Be careful: there is always wind! But that can be cooling in the heat.

Great campsite if you accept the poor sanitary facilities. Irritatingly high thresholds when you want to get on the pitch. At the adjacent restaurant Helena you can get chicken piri-piri for 8.50. Kilometres of walking-boardwalks through the dunes!! Cycle along the beach and then the Douro to the great Porto.

We tried to make contact by phone to make a reservation. You get a repeating message on a tape, which stops after a while. At an Orbitur campsite near Aveiro we hear that you can always make a reservation per night. Not multiple nights. Changing places every day doesn't seem like a good idea to us. So we go to the municipal campsite further on.

Mediocre campsite on the edge of a nature reserve. No hospitality experienced. Pitches are marked with green rope, 8x8 meters, even if it is slanted or if there are trees. Buildings dated. Green deposits on the hideous hiker huts. As a base to the nice Aveiro (make sure you know the departure times of the ferry), then quickly continue.

A messy campsite. You can't or aren't allowed to stand on some pitches. Sanitary facilities are mediocre. Inward-opening doors at a toilet are always a nuisance. And the visible mold there is annoying. There are also good points: the great jet of the shower, and the free use of the washing machine. The old town of Ciudad Rodrigo is worth a visit!

Large but nice campsite. Spacious pitches. Checking in takes a long time due to the necessary administration, which can cause a queue. Book a pitch with electricity, because not all pitches have that. I saw campers leave because of that. A visit to Salamanca is of course a must. A beautiful and pleasant city!

Great campsite! Take your time to find a nice spot. There are also green spots! Management and sanitary facilities more than sufficient. Of course the National Park is a must see!! But also the Via Verde 1 km north is worth it, although that stops abruptly after 17 km. Tip: at the pond and the sheep, through a fence, bee-eaters fly!

Very pleasant campsite! Excellent management. Sanitary facilities somewhat dated, but clean and fresh. Lovely shower! Terrace at reception has a fantastic view. Two places for larger campers, which you must reserve in advance. A3 is the best place, with a wide view, but only for tents or camper vans.

Nice, very spacious campsite! Management very friendly and very helpful. Sanitary of hotel quality. Ask for the walking and cycling routes of Jan. A must-do if you want to see and experience something of the fantastic surroundings. The abandoned shepherd village Los Pajares is very special. The swimming pool is currently being prepared.

Nice campsite. Very convenient, that private sanitary! Some places with sun protection. Small shop, with bread, next to the reception. Friendly and competent management. Must see: the historic city center of Cáceres. Half an hour by bike.

Nice campsite! Beautiful park. Management hospitable. Place 22 is perhaps the most beautiful, quite green view. Sanitary ok, although one outside toilet for the man and woman is little. You also shower (half) outside. By bike to Tomar on the e-bike is fine. Tip: visit the Convent (within the castle walls)!!

Upon arrival, two ‘parking guards’ immediately shoot at you. Whether we wanted to pay 5 euros, because his family has to eat anyway…. And a Dutchman in front of us had just paid this. He said that with bloodshot eyes and a can of beer under his armpit. We do not cooperate with crime! So get out of there!! A kilometer further we find a large, quiet and especially safe location in a public place to go into town by bike.

Great campsite near the beach and Lisbon. Incomprehensible that people stand next to the main road. And complain about that….. About 50 meters further, at sanitary 3, good places and total peace! Mini market offers sandwiches. Tip: go to the city with online taxi Bolt. Competitor of Uber. For 9.36 euros (incl. 2.15 for toll road) we stood at the highest point of Lisbon, the castle.

Everything seems a bit unorganized and sloppy. But there are enough employees…. Sanitary facilities ok but dated. Especially the shower. Good base to the nice fortified town of Évora. Follow the yellow cycle path with the two-wheeler, always straight ahead.

Dated whole. Sanitary old, but clean. The rain shower looks great, but when the shower head sprays out on one side... Management friendly and helpful. Former journalist Paulo does his best! Restaurant well visited in the afternoon. Tip: in the white-yellow church behind the site is a mini museum with 8,500 votive offerings. You don't know what you see!!

For questions or reservations the campsite cannot be reached. Not by phone and not by e-mail. That is not of this time! On arrival message: find a place and report to the bar. Management incompetent. Park dated. Sanitary mediocre. Mérida beautiful!

Very quiet campsite. Spanish speaking management. Handyman is Dutch! A few guests. Spaces separated by brown canvas….. As if you are in a circus. Access to the beautiful 18.5 long Via Verde Sierra Norte 2 km south via Klimbos. WiFi at the reception. Otherwise no internet and telephone reception. Half showers have hot water. Everything seems dated.

Luxury CP. Wouldn't call it a campsite. Half (covered) places with electricity. Beautiful view of the mountain village and the impressive castle. For viewing, pay attention to the opening hours! The young lady of the management friendly. Sanitary downright good! Tip: don't come through the village with your camper: too narrow and too steep!

Well-maintained CP near the nice town. Cycled from the CP to Ubeda in almost half an hour via a free cycle path. That was a bit disappointing. Around midnight on the CP somewhat noisy. This was the day of the big national power failure. After 22:00 everything pitch dark. An experience!

Had a good stay, but there was something to note. Only a few guests on a large terrain. Weekend busier. Only first sanitary block warm water. Grass is half a meter high everywhere. Bread service, except on Sunday. Tip: go walk the Ruta del Rio Borosa. Amazingly beautiful!! To start, by bike 9 km, easy to do.

Very nice CP! Spot 3 is a must. Management, despite poor English, very helpful. You get a remote control for the ‘gate’. Super safe! Sanitary ok. The men’s rain shower. Cycling with Via Verde in 27 km to the sanctuary Caravaca really beautiful. To Mula not.

Nice CP on a very busy back road. We were on 2, and that was almost impossible until 21:00. Sleeping was ok. Management very friendly!! Didn't see a bakery. Sanitary: toilet very small. With your knees against the door.... Cycle path to the moderately touristy Cartagena, 40% free of the road. Follow the brown signs with white arrow.

Brand new CP. Contact with management was difficult. Excellent base for the beach and Elche. Go there to the botanical garden Hort del Cura! Sanitary facilities very well maintained, with soap and guest towel. And good toilet paper. The right heat setting for the wonderful rain shower took 3 minutes. Too bad that the new places could not be level. High blocks needed.

Nice campsite. Management competent and friendly. Show you a spot. Sanitary dated. Doesn't smell fresh. Shower is wonderful! Baguette every day. Beach and boulevard surprisingly beautiful! Cycling tip: to the monastery Santa Maria Valldigna. Route via app Routiq.

Pleasant luxury CP. We came here because there is no campsite near Valencia. Management in terms of information provision excellent. You can hear traffic well. You can wake up from it. Via the red cycle highway to the city. Gem in the city, is the somewhat hidden Esglesia Sant Nicolas. A must see!

No more than mediocre. Reception was confusing and clumsy. Walk to your place, but do not immediately activate the electricity with a key, for example. Confiscation of passports, and not getting them back immediately.... Dated sanitary facilities. After one night, quickly move on!

Nice campsite! Spacious pitches. Excellent management. Bread roll service. Good base for the former railway line, the via verda Val de Zafán. Fantastic up to Xerta!! Sanitary facilities (with toilet seat + paper) fine, although the floor is slippery after cleaning.

Special, small-scale, quiet campsite. Only three places. One for a larger camper of max 7m. Access road very bumpy. Contact mainly via WhatsApp. Book in advance!! Wash dishes with cold water. Previous tip, to go to Horta by bike and bus, did NOT work. Bikes could not / did not fit in the hold.

Nice campsite! Directly on the beach, and on the beautiful 11 km long cycle path to Salou. Places not too spacious. There were classes with school children in the park. Sanitary facilities good, with toilet seat and toilet paper. A small supermarket (on the beach side) is handy, for example for fresh bread.

Very nice campsite! Management super friendly and helpful!! Not yet read here, that the traffic of the adjacent highway can be heard well. The free washing machine is well known by the Spaniards in their free weekend. A real hunt ensues. Carts full! Sanitary facilities great! Cycle path Le Carillet great!

Great campsite! Not cosy…. Management ok. Bread service. Walking to the city is easy. Take the free shuttle bus La Citadine 1 from the Narbo Via Museum (archaeology region). Cycling via Eurovelo 8 along the canal after the viaduct is currently broken up. Lovely shower! After cleaning, the sanitary facilities are a water ballet.

Nice campsite! The management is excellent. The cheerful ‘Urbanus’ welcomes you. Sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day. With a fairly large swimming pool, a bar and a canteen, a good place to stay. Avignon is great. Good cycling in the area, such as the Via Rhône.

Very large complex. At the reservoir. Bread service. The accommodation is somewhere between a camper place and a campsite. Large spaces! Sanitary facilities somewhat dated. Restaurant fine! Especially the starter fried mushrooms. It is nice to cycle on the Ravel (former railway line, via the end of the P-place down), and in fifteen minutes you are on the famous Vennbahn. Towards Malmedy you go down all the time.

Atmosphereless large transit camper place. The management is not ashamed of that either, in the brochure. Book your stay via e-mail. Around 17:00 Complete! Facilities good! There is even a heater in the shower, and for one euro there is a dishwasher. Chip shop open from 18-19 hours, with long queue. In the morning from 07:00 hours you can get your ordered bread, and the first ones are already on their way again.

Nice campsite. Management does not speak English, and despite telephone contact in advance did not report a lunch break from 12.30-14.00. They were only there at 14.30.... Beautiful swimming pool! Excellent cycling opportunities over La Dolce Via. No lighting in sanitary facilities. Washing dishes and toileting with a flashlight. 20,- p.n.

Nice campsite, with a very warm management. The ladies really make you feel at home, and that is not something you experience very often. Sanitary: small cubicles, but otherwise fine. Good cycling possibilities; e.g. along the Canal du Midi to Vias. And of course you come here for the sea!

Great campsite. Friendly management. Sanitary facilities ok, toilet with paper. Small swimming pool. You have to make a reservation. The campsite was full in the afternoon, and when a couple arrived who had booked for two weeks, there was a problem. Places on the small side, and use blocks everywhere. Tip: the Voie Verte (former railway line) to the nice village of Sommières.

Nice campsite, and in the region the only one that still has space from 11.15. You can make a reservation here: do that! Management very friendly. Were assigned a spacious place. Toilet with paper and toilet seat, and that is quite unique in the South of France. Don't forget to visit the city; by bike a quarter of an hour, and very nice!!

Situated on the highway. At 11.15 already Complet…. Management sent us to the Sainte Victoire 7 km further: also full! While the nearby Chantecler still had a spot for us.

Nice campsite, with bread service (except Monday) and a beautiful swimming pool. Sanitary facilities ok. Camper places between the many mobile homes. Beautiful separate cycle path between Toulon and Hyeres. To the peninsula (Giens 18 km) with flamingos, also easy to do. Tip: go to the La Garonne bay!! E-bike recommended!

Fairly large campsite, with cottages. First week of September almost ‘complete’. Small places, that’s a shame. Many Dutch. Sanitary facilities good! Swimming pool super!! Cycling in the area is good, with the necessary altitude meters. E-bike recommended.

Quiet campsite! Sanitary facilities somewhat dated, but ok. Management absent until 17:00. If you arrive earlier, drive to the barriers and find a spot yourself. Excellent cycling in the area. Don't forget to visit Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. E-bike highly recommended!!

Average campsite. Camper on a small strip / parking lot. Via steep road. Many houses. Sanitary good and clean. The historic town worth a visit. There are also the necessary restaurants. Paid 27.30 for two people.

In itself a fine campsite. In a small forest on a hill. Very quiet! Sanitary good and fresh. Shower via device and coins. Swimming pool still open, but the snack bar / pizzeria no longer. Paid 24.20 euros for two people.

Nice campsite! Spacious, large pitches and great sanitary facilities. We don't like that there is no bread service on Mondays and Tuesdays. And on this Monday the restaurant was also closed. While the site was well occupied. Then you don't listen to the customer! Then you don't want to earn money (they probably already had the loot). Cycling in the area, or (with e-bike) to Bouillon is actually not possible. Too steep.

Nice, well-occupied campsite. With a cozy bike café. Base for a bike ride to National Park Bosland. Negative points: the sandy path to the C-field is a ‘dancing road’, and you are bothered 24/7 by the humming sound of fans and the stench of a chicken farm.

We really wanted to cycle on this day at this location on the Vennbahn. We had contact three times, by e-mail and by phone, but we had to check in from 14:00. Alternatives such as charging an extra whole or half day were not available. Arriving at 12:30 was not possible. And that at a campsite that is not full…. Then not!

Nice campsite. Between the many pig sheds you imagine yourself on the Veluwe. Management very friendly. Sanitary really top! Safe camping behind a fence. Rabbits run free. Tip: take the fully catered campfire package of €10,- with wood and popcorn.

A camper place on grass, within a recreational park. Side by side. Sanitary facilities at CP are small, dated, but good. No shade in the middle of the day! Environment: great for cycling! Opposite Ribhouse Texas with the best spareribs in the Netherlands.

Nice campsite, with good facilities, attention to decoration, and friendly and helpful management. Point of attention: noise from the adjacent A50.

Attractive campsite in a beautiful region. There are many neglected caravans on the site. Some with green deposits. The sanitary facilities are of top quality! It is maintained by a nice Roma family. Nearby there is a very good Asian restaurant, Seeterrasse. Here you must have seen the fortified town of Kronenburg further up. E-bike recommended!!

Free boring transit campsite. After 3 p.m. the Dutch start pouring in. The rear sanitary facilities are small. Waiting in front of the two toilets in the morning. Bread at the reception. Town a short distance away, and quite worth seeing. Many cycling routes in the area.

Nice campsite! Spacious, on a mountain, with reasonably large pitches. Sanitary facilities good and clean. Take the left one of the purple showers, it is nice and spacious! Cycling route to beautiful Uzès. Don't forget to rent a Kayak and sail under the UNESCO monument Pont du Gard!! 20 euros per night.

Nice campsite. Good and clean sanitary facilities, with relatively large showers. Swimming pool ok. Receptionist (the one with the huge hips) grumpy. Cycling route Voie Verte on a former railway line of 20 km around the corner. Monastery where Van Gogh visited, impressive. Cycling to the famous town of Les Baux-de-Provence is very steep at the end!!

At the reception they first say that it is best to book 1 night, because there are a lot of mosquitoes. And there they were! Very annoying!! Sanitary facilities ok. Shower rooms small. Sandwiches at the pool snack bar. Village touristy. Cycling route to the lighthouse fantastic! Spot flamingos up close.

A nice campsite in itself, with a nice swimming pool and nice clean sanitary facilities. But, reservations had to be made online…. Did that, and paid 12 euros for that 'service'. Plenty of room upon arrival. That's scum! Staff at a nice restaurant do not speak English and are unfriendly. For a cycle route through a beautiful salt area, choose navigation “Place Pechiney”. There's the Billetery! Ticket for cyclist €15.

Pleasant campsite. Book online! Many Dutch people. The 'outdoor shower' is great. Clean sanitary facilities. To the interesting Arles, keep left at the old arched bridge. Make sure you stop by McDonald's! Cycling along the Rhône was disappointing. Bit boring.

It's true: the plumbing is dated. There are new owners and they want to make a fresh start. Manon is no longer there. There will probably be another name. There is a modest eatery with two menus. The green curry chicken was delicious. Pleasant swimming pool! Tip: there are many cycling routes. Ask the Tourism Office!

Nice large campsite. Frequently used as a campsite on transit to the south of France or Spain. Swimming pool open. Lidl within walking distance. Also suitable for cycling trips along the Saône and the Voie Verte towards Chalon-sur-Saône. Brochures are available for free at the Tourism Office (next to the church) in the nice town.

After years of a good stay and a great restaurant, fame has gone to her head. Had arrogant telephone contact. Reservations can be made a week in advance, contact required by e-mail, and if you want to come spontaneously, call half an hour before arrival. That wasn't worth it to us: like it or not!

We ended up here because it is halfway through the Dordogne from the Netherlands. We were the only camper. Make sure you have enough supplies with you. No supermarket nearby. Boring village! Very nice campsite! Especially pitches 20-24, with a view of the Dordogne, are great!! There are also many mobile homes. Swimming pool great. Sanitary facilities kept moderately clean, and no toilet seat and no paper. We were less pleased with the new management. If it says that “only if you really want to” you can rent a canoe, then you don't have customer friendliness in your genes.

Nice campsite, with friendly management. The best place is 3, or next to it. what a great view over Vallee du Lot. Restaurant excellent! If it is still full at the end of September, then you know it is good. Sanitary top! No supermarket nearby. We were disappointed with the enjoyment of cycling. The Voie Verte towards Fumel, and the other direction towards Puy-l'Evêque is good, but quite boring. Paid €20 per night.

The reception was messy: narrow entrance, waiting, a lot of information and codes. Make your own choice from a few options, while there is fourfold free. Vallee du Lot cycle route is great, as is the village of Lapopie. Pizza is baked for you at the Proxi Super over the steel bridge.

The most beautiful is along the Semois: turn left from the campsite and immediately after the Carrefour turn right onto a cycle path downhill. Sanitary dated. Manage perfunctorily. Simple campsite with a high Hippie allure. Sanitary simple, but cleaned twice a day. Most fields have 4 (small) spaces. There is a small supermarket in the holiday park next door. Lots of kids and groups. Therefore noisy. Tip: the cycle path, completely over the dike, to Enkhuizen.

A simple campsite. Friendly management. Suitable for mobile homes and groups of children. There between decent camper pitches. In the immediate vicinity no restaurants and supermarkets! The 'little shop' should not have a name. We were disappointed with the possibilities to cycle along the Seine. Doing the cleaning at 8:30 am is not convenient!

Very nice campsite! Everything scores a good. Base for a visit to pleasant Angers. Tip 1: ride the bike path south towards Savenierres. Beautiful bike path along the Maine and Loire. Tip 2: Go eat at the beach in the nearby park at the snack hut La Buvette Du Lac, and try the Rillauds Grillé.

The first acquaintance was already mediocre. You can't get anyone on the phone and no one responds to emails. Sanitary also moderate. Tip: take route 57 on a former railway to Chateau du Rivau. There is also a special garden! The management lost our registration at check-out…..

Dated campsite. Generally old stuff. This has not been maintained for years. We therefore did not take a shower….. Reception and accommodation were otherwise ok. From 5 pm you can buy a hamburger with fries at a snack point. Town disappointed us. Only the Unesco cathedral is beautiful.

Nice campsite! A so-called ANWB Charme Camping. There are four camper pitches with hard surfaces. The information booklet states that you have to pay 0.50 cents per shower. In practice this is not the case. However, after pressing 5 to 6 times, the shower stops. You can then go to the shower next door…. Note: make a reservation!

The campsite has many camper pitches. All places were occupied every day. Book!! What is special is that after reservation you will not see any staff or reception due to license plate recognition and automated correspondence. Sanitary and other facilities are fine! Paid 60 euros for two nights.

Very nice campsite. Once camped in the middle of the Krüger Park, now in our largest national park. BUT, everything points to the nature camping having to close from December. The board of the park wants a hotel or luxury houses. See the newspaper reports. Such a pity!

The campsite and the location (near the palaces of the famous Avenue de Champagne) and Velo route 52 is still quite sufficient, but the hygiene of the sanitary facilities is downright bad. Nice campsite on the Loire. Tourist Office Gien offers 18 cycling routes. Management speaks English. Diagonally opposite the campsite, you can order sandwiches at a local shop. Sanitary neat and clean! There was an NKC group at the campsite. Then it must be good.

A great campsite to explore the Lac d'Orient lake area by bike. Don't forget Lac du Temple. Management speak only French. Sanitary ok but in shower no dry room and pressing a button every 10 seconds for (hot) water. Try to stand as far from the road as possible because of noise.

Nice inexpensive campsite on the Maas and the Eurovelo 19 bicycle route. Friendly management. If you know that you have to pay 250 m away after checking in, that's no problem. There are sun and shade pitches. Paid 40 euros for three nights.

Nice compact campsite. super friendly management! It was the second time we were here. Sanitary fine and clean. Combines well with Beekse Bergen or Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park. You can enjoy cycling there. For one night you pay, with two people, 20 euros.

Camping Dierenbos, which is related to Beekse Bergen, charges 12.50 euros for reservation costs. That is almost half the price of the comfort pitch at 28.50 euros. Bizarre much! Most campsites do not charge for a reservation.

Camp at a farm, event venue, and nursery. professional organization, and quite busy on weekends with kids and farm golfers. Sanitary modest and downright dirty. We are shocked! 40 euros per night is too much, a tenner can be deducted from that.

What a beautiful campsite, situated around the river La Foliere. A spot on that river is great! There is an area for 'travellers'. There are caveats: super small toilet, for internet you have to go to the WiFi of an internet room in the evening, and there is a restaurant but you have to order your food there the day before. Then it is mandatory to eat inside, even with 32 degrees (and no ventilation or air conditioning). The cook is top notch, the service was bad.

Nice campsite on Lake Garda. Also a campsite that is the last to be full…. On arrival you have to find a free spot with a map in hand. Over such a large area, and with warm weather, that is a thing. Porter at the entrance gives a safe feeling. It is nice to cycle along the coastline.

The campsite, although it also looks a bit like a parking lot, is fine. Especially the places on the outside, with a view, are beautiful. It is busy. A few RVs are in the middle of the site on gravel. Tip: come before 2 p.m. Langres has 12 fortress towers, 7 gates and 3.5 km of fortress walls. That seems like a big crowd puller, but the town was a big disappointment to us. Lots of old neglected houses. Is that why Langres is not so well known?

Nice quiet campsite near Lake Annecy! Lots of spacious places. Sanitary ok. They only forgot the toilet seats ;-) Beautiful cycling, and especially the round around the lake of about 40 km. Don't forget to visit the beautiful city of Annecy!

A real Italian campsite, with compact pitches. Manage kindly. Advantageous: 42.80 for two nights. Mini-shop. Sanitary clean, but dated. There is one normal toilet per sanitary block. Some hours you are not allowed to wash up…. In the evenings it can be noisy due to animation. Don't forget to visit Chioggia!!

Great campsite! Places not too spacious. Special and innovative, with a shower for the dog, a self-cleaning toilet brush, sanitary facilities for children, a position that rotates with the sun, and the look of the Efteling. Only downside, not right on the lake. But a wristband with which you can go to the beach for free and use a bicycle ferry.

Pleasant campsite near Salzburg. At 100 meters from the city you experience peace and nature. Manage kindly. Restaurant good and cheap. It gets busy quickly, and that often says a lot. Excellent terraced campsite on a beautiful lake. Choice for comfort pitches (with water). Sanitary ok, it was already cleaned at 6.15 am. Restaurant fine, and open until 9 pm. You can cycle well around the lake (also halfway with a ferry).

Was closed. Everything closed and no guests. Continued to the already cozy ATC Kutna Hora. And that is also closer to the attraction of the town, the 'bone church'.

We love coming here! every year. The management is welcoming as if it should be. The authentic Boscamping is beautiful and quiet. The wooded area of Gaasterland surprises every time. And no coins for hot water or paying for WiFi….. All credit to Patrick and Barbara!

Excellent campsite in the middle of the forest. Almost full at the end of September, says a lot. Sanitary good! Nice cycling and walking area. An arrival and departure at different hours had to be negotiated; that could have been done more proactively from the point of view of management.

Apparently a number of Dutch teenagers run this campsite these days. Unfortunately, the quality is not improving. We have become accustomed to it in recent years. You cannot blame everything on the recent flooding in this area. The lady did not know whether the price per night was 21, - with or without shower tokens. The grass is too high. Only Dutch directions in a French-speaking area. And after rain you stand in a mud puddle.

Fairly large campsite near the surprisingly nice town. Snack bar next to the reception. Sanitary dated. You can walk to the center within 10 minutes. Tip: after Place Ducale, walk down the shopping street to the center of Mézières. It can be a bit noisy at night with youth. Many motorhomes stay overnight to pull through. We are going to combine the short stay with Sedan.

Large municipal campsite. Friendly management. Bike path is next to the site. Good base to Chenonceau and Amboise. Sanitary quickly filthy. Bakery within walking distance. Discount through ASCI, and because there might not be hot water. The plumber was supposed to come last week. By the way, a nice hot shower.

Nice campsite on the Loire. You don't need to make a reservation here. There is always a spot. Good base for cycling trips to Chambord (30 km) and Chaumont (50 km). Gentleman at reception speaks good English. Sanitary quickly filthy. On site bar / food truck with delicious burgers! There was a big disadvantage: a lot of mosquitoes!!!

Excellent campsite to visit the fortified city of the fortified towns, Carcassonne, via Canal de Midi (from the campsite to Trèbes, and over the canal to the right on the largely unpaved cycle path). Nice sanitary! However, there are a few downsides: you have to hand in your ACSI card when you check in, and you can only serve it from 09:00.

Nice campsite on the Dordogne! We have extended twice in the meantime. Not too expensive either. The spots on the river are by far the most beautiful. Ask for it! Besides all the castles, swimming in the beautiful pool and canoeing on the river, a tip is to do the marked cycle path between Castelnaud-la-Chapelle and Daglan. It starts in the large parking lot near the castle.

Spacious quiet site near the tourist town of Sarlat-la-Canéda. Can be reached by bike in half an hour. Very friendly reception. good facilities. bread service. At the price: paid 35 euros per night.

We had nice days at this municipal campsite. Friendly management. Ask for cycling routes, they have beautiful maps for free. Sanitary dated, but O.k. Spacious pitches. The town of Digoin is nothing. Nothing of reputation with pottery marked. Upstream is a beautiful and special aqueduct over the Loire. Built in 1834.

Quiet green campsite where holiday traffic comes and goes every day. Reception nice and helpful. Speaks good English. Sanitary ok If you have two hours to spare, go downtown. Place Stanislas is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Free public transport on weekends.

We have enjoyed coming to this Boscamping for years. Friendly management. Patrick is a person like you rarely see them anymore. Bread service, and the famous Pake's Fries. Fantastic cycling area, and in warm weather you can also enter the IJsselmeer at various locations. In high season 28.60 p.n. paid. Also open in winter, and if you want hot tub.

Quiet campsite / CP. Although, you can wake up to bellowing calves. The camper pitches are paved with stones. Terrace can then be on grass. Owner notes everything on paper in a multimap. Had a terrible experience with the reservation. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. Each answer from the office (where 6 people sit) raised another question. Finally got 13 emails from Bakkum!!! For one reservation.... Registered and paid via MijnBakkum. When you arrive, it turns out that your registered license plate does not work for the barrier, and the reception says that you have not paid. There would also be a double booking.... BAH!

A nice but rather dated campsite on the edge of the dunes. You cannot wash dishes at two of the three sanitary blocks. There was, however, a toilet for seniors! Choose your own place on a field with 12 places. Walking to the beach. Base to Hellevoetsluis, Ouddorp and Brielle. 20,- per night paid.

Super nice farm campsite! Although the campsite has just opened and the decoration still needs to grow, the campsite is being worked on with passion. The sanitary block is cleaned several times a day. Big boxes. Check out Willemstad! Paid 41.76 for two nights. Thanks Bianca!

Nice forest campsite. Friendly staff. Near Gilze-Rijen Air Base and a provincial road. Had little trouble with this. Those roaring Chinooks are cool too. Excellent facilities, even a swimming pool. Paid 82.50 for 3 nights.

Community campsite. It can be a bit noisy later in the evening with youth (or laughing guests). That youth thought they had to destroy our table. Management solved it well for us beyond expectations. Base to fortresses Loevestein, Gorinchem and on foot to Woudrichem. Sanitary dated. Paid 17.65 per night.

Nice campsite in the hilly landscape near Groesbeek. Beautiful area for cycling. Spent a few nights on the new tractor field, and that is worth repeating. Peace and quiet and a beautiful panoramic view. Facilities in order. Paid 22,- per night.

Very large campsite. Near highway, and some noise audible. Starting point for fruit and blossom routes. Great for children. Fish pond. Small shop. Sanitary: good. Takeaway possible. La Place and McDonalds are neighbors. Paid for three nights: 114.30.

Outside the campsite you stay on a strip for campers (CP). at that strip there is a simple toilet block. WCs for ladies and gentlemen. By bike to the beach, bulb region and Leiden. Tip for the owner: adjust the arrival and departure time (14.00 / 11.00), they are not houses! Paid a total of 32.16 euros for one night.

Easter weekend 2021. with our 7 meter motorhome we had the choice between a small pitch on the grass, a budget plan or a paved pitch. we chose the latter option unseen. They were bare places, like a CP, at the bottom of a hill and at a playground. Screaming children all day long. No nature and little experience. We will not do that again. As a base to the Heuvelland. Compliment for the beautiful sanitary facilities! Cost p.n. over 30 €

We have less experience with this campsite. No contact could be made beforehand by phone or email, and afterwards (when we forgot a toilet bag) no response whatsoever. The time for showering starts when the coin falls into the machine. Total shower time is therefore short. Plus, the restaurant on the campsite.

A pleasant, small terraced campsite on the beautiful Ligurian coast. Sanitary dated but clean. You can wash the dishes with cold water. Hardly any possibilities for larger campers. Cycle path on an old railway line from San Lorenzo to San Remo is a must do. For the rest, dangerous cycling along a busy road. 35, - per night.

Excellent campsite for a visit to the surprisingly nice city of Turin. The camping site itself offers all desired facilities, but has no mood. Plumbing excels. There is nothing to do in the area. The management is very friendly and helpful. Price per night for a camper with two people: 24 euros.

A pleasant campsite with terraces along Lake Annecy, with a beautiful public beach on the other side of the cycle path with a more than great view. Don't forget the 40 km round trip around the lake. So beautiful!! And the old town of Annecy is also more than worth it. Friendly reception. Just across the road a large Lidl. Costs per night 22, -.

The only, but fine, campsite to visit Geneva. Not a touristic tour de force this city, but still worth it. Reception selective in a number of areas. For example, we did not immediately receive our reservation at the lake, and acquaintances initially did not receive 'free' tickets for public transport. Quite unpleasant dated campsite, with the advantage of its location near the sea. When you arrive you think you are at a farm, a large gray shed. Dated but pleasant campsite on the river Weser. The outdated campsite is behind a dyke. We were given the opportunity to stand in an unprocessed pasture with power supply along the river. Beautifully situated campsite in perhaps the deepest valley in Europe. There is no through road, so there is little traffic. White water river is easy to hear. Super walking area. It is less suitable for cycling. Friendly yet professional owner does not tell too much. Sanitary ok The showers for ladies are up to 5 times larger than for men. For two nights 53, - paid.

The designation is camping, but for motorhomes it is actually a camper place with extra facilities. You stand next to each other, with little space and privacy. Small breakfast bar and mini shop with a choice of a few sandwiches. With ACSI discount we paid 30.70 a night. Sanitary ok. From the campsite by bike towards Hütteldorf to the Wientalradweg to visit Vienna.

During our stay it rained and there was mud here and there. Spacious places. Only tents are allowed on the Moselle. There was a group of English travelers. They seemed to have been there for a while. No problems with that. Walk to the beautiful city in fifteen minutes. Sanitary the French way; ie no toilet seat and still to be called nasty. Modest menu in the 'canteen'. Friendly people.
