Beautiful place, lots of birds and a wonderful silence. The sanitary facilities are exactly what you need, clean, good hooks in the toilets and a lovely warm shower. Cafe restaurant Geertien in Muggenbeet is recommended if you want to eat well (6 km by bike), also has a beautiful terrace on the water. Although the campsite was not actually open yet, we were warmly welcomed!

We have been here for three years now, from 2021 to 2023, with our 7-meter camper van. Very friendly staff, clean toilets and showers, absolutely quiet at night. Never heard anything from a shooting range as mentioned in another review. So it matters which days you are there. We are always opposite a field which is very pleasant, lots of green. You can get to the city by bike in no time. Making a reservation can be useful.

For the 2nd time in October at this camper spot, again we enjoyed it very much. Made a beautiful bike ride. Had a delicious meal at Wielens, where you really feel welcome, very nice people. The v Gogh menu was a surprising ending to this day. In short….next year again!
