We had a breakdown with our motorhome and were towed to this site by the ADAC (German Automobile Club). The owner was extremely helpful, found us a spot, and even sawed off a branch for the tow truck in the pouring rain. He patiently helped us organize a rental car. The site is in a quiet location, and the restrooms are very clean and well-maintained. The pizza in the restaurant is delicious. Modane is more of a place for passing through.

The site is particularly good due to its central location. Konstanz and Radolfzell are easily accessible by bike or train (free of charge). Standard pitches are cramped and sometimes noisy. Showers are great, but not enough. The beach is mediocre (swimming shoes recommended). Reception was very friendly and helpful, but very inflexible. We had to pay for all the reserved days when the campsite was fully booked, even though we asked to leave a day earlier.

This campsite was a real hit for us: beautifully situated under trees right on the Dordogne, very friendly and helpfully run by a young couple, large pitches, great heated swimming pool with sunbathing area, basic but spotlessly clean sanitary facilities. The villages and castles of Beynac and Castelnaud, which are worth seeing, are about 15 minutes away on foot, and there is a good, inexpensive restaurant 600m away. We extended our stay and will be back!

Since many campsites on the island are now completely overcrowded, it was like finding a place here right by the sea in an oasis, quiet, spacious and with a panoramic view. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Yes, the sanitary facilities deserve a minus point and the campsite is out of the way and you have to get on your bike to get to the restaurants and supermarket. But you can go swimming in the sea in the morning within walking distance.

Not far from the freeway, easily accessible. Beautiful parking space, central and yet in the countryside. Supermarket, Greek restaurant, bakery, all within walking distance. Playground right next door. Very friendly groundskeeper! Went here on our way on holiday and stopped by again on our way home.

The only star we give to the nice young man at the reception who was very helpful. Campsite in need of renovation, sanitary in containers, many permanent campers who do not maintain their place. The overnight price of 32.90 euros for a mobile home with 2 people is completely overpriced. we had no alternative and had to stay one night, but we will definitely not be going back.

We went straight on! The groundsman was so arrogant and rude when we asked if we could have a look at the campsite first. I asked kindly with my school French and he answered so quickly that I didn't understand the problem at first. He then criticized my language skills and refused us a visit in German. You don't have to put up with that.

Well-kept campsite with a great panoramic view of the rose garden. Friendly and helpful staff, sanitary clean, good restaurant, swimming area more for families with children. Spacious pitches, we felt comfortable from the first moment, will definitely be back! In July / August, however, the valley is very full, maybe better outside of the holidays.

Super terraced campsite with a magnificent view of the mountains! Top sanitary facilities! Perfect starting point for hiking and cycling. Nice place, supermarket within walking distance. Very friendly operator, WLAN works! Outdoor swimming pool, admission incl. And free use of bus and train. Price reasonable. A minus point for the loud water pump, but in the evening off.

Very nice pitch with private beach and in the first row you even have some lake view. Clean toilet and perfect disposal. The groundskeeper welcomed us very friendly and provided with information and bike map. Price 21 euros including electricity a bit overpriced, but such a nice location costs. There is one point deduction for the road behind, which does not really bother us.
